Today at the anime convention, I took a series of photos in Durandal's 'Bride cosplay' form. The outfit features an overall white, blue, and gold palette, requiring quite a bit of patience to put on.

Regarding facial makeup and styling, the wig is blonde, paired with bright blue colored contacts. The focus of the eye makeup was elongating the outer eye corners paired with lower lashes, with a faint reddish tint gently blended around the eyes. The base foundation was applied quite fair to match the white off-shoulder gown. For close-up shots, a slightly upward angle was chosen, taking advantage of the ambient venue lighting to give the face more dimension and enhance overall visual proportions.

Regarding the costume, the pleated collar of white tulle is quite high, and the deep blue rose brooch in the center had to be secured very carefully, as its metal base is prominent on the chest. The bodice features three-dimensional white blossoms with blue gemstones and gold fan-shaped pieces, supported by transparent shoulder straps and silver armor plates; adjusting the fit snugly when dressing is crucial, or it easily gapes. The skirt fabric is diamond-quilted cotton with scalloped ruffled edges, with a built-in petticoat to maintain fullness. The waist features a wide blue-and-white sash with clear diamond patterns, offering great waist-cinching definition.

For the lower body, it is paired with tight white stockings in White tights cosplay, with silver-and-blue petal-shaped armor plates designed at the upper thighs. These rigid armor pieces require care when walking and sitting down to avoid snagging the stockings. The white tall boots are quite stiff; adding shoe lifts helps optimize leg lines, though standing and walking around the convention for hours was indeed exhausting.

The convention venue was packed, with grid ceilings and electric fans in the background; to avoid disturbing others, I used a phone with front fill light to shoot close-up portraits. Later, to showcase the full costume, I specifically found an indoor mirror and snapped two full-body mirror shots. Although the indoor lighting was backlit and the background messy, it managed to clearly capture the skirt's layering, diamond textures, and the texture of the white tights, serving as a comprehensive record of the overall look.

If you want to try this Anime cosplay styling yourself, I recommend preparing the petticoat and wig the night before, and definitely iron the white tulle in advance. The top demands clean shoulder and collarbone lines, so adjust transparent straps carefully to avoid digging into the skin. The overall state during this shoot was quite steady—that's all for the photoshoot process and wearing experience of this Bride cosplay look.
