Taking advantage of the beautiful autumn weather, I took my cat out for a picnic and also shot a set of official photos for my Kaname Rana cosplay. The lazy vibe and cat-like attributes of this look truly match the outdoors perfectly. The black and white loose top combined with short white hair looks exceptionally clean and sharp against the fallen leaves background. This time, I specially chose a sunny afternoon, and the light and shadow hitting the hair strands and the rips in the clothes gave it a wonderful texture. While interacting with the cat during the shoot, it was super cooperative, sitting nicely on the picnic mat and eating snacks, allowing us to snap many relaxed and natural moments. Since the character itself has traits of a cat-like girl, I specifically included a live cat element to give the frame more life-like vibes. For the makeup, I only focused on highlighting the blue eyes without too much extra touch-ups, trying my best to restore the character's cool and detached feel. The rips and dropped-shoulder design of the jacket are very comfortable, making it easy to move around. From arranging the outdoor picnic props to guiding the cat's actions, a lot of thought went into this autumn outing shoot. The final photos turned out soft and vivid, perfectly matching how I imagine Kaname Rana in the outdoors. For this kind of casual-oriented autumn cosplay, I pay more attention to atmosphere and realism, avoiding forced posing and instead letting the person blend into the scene.
