[Daji cosplay] Honor of Kings Default Skin Convention photos Sharing

The process of taking these Convention photos for Daji's default skin (Daji cosplay) was slightly more challenging than expected. The costume had numerous details, featuring yellow fabric spliced with black panels, requiring constant adjustments to the chest and waist accessories as they easily shifted during poses. Styling the short yellow wig took considerable effort; to securely fasten the pair of fluffy fox ears and the large tail behind, numerous clips and support frames were hidden inside and out. The tail was quite heavy, requiring deliberate center-of-gravity control while walking, crouching, or sitting to avoid it tipping askew.

For leg styling, I selected purple fishnet tights paired with light-toned patterned Stockings featuring subtle triangle motifs, matched with high black patent leather platform heels. These shoes placed significant strain on the ankles and were tiring to stand in for long periods, but they certainly elongated the leg lines. The shoot took place inside a large convention hall; due to the crowds, we found a cleaner spot sheltered by pillars, utilizing the overhead spotlights of the hall as the key light source. The camera exposure settings were tuned to the ambient lighting—aside from facial fill light, the yellow fabric absorbed a lot of light, requiring careful exposure management.

During the shoot, I explored various poses, such as resting my chin on my hands while sitting on the smooth concrete floor, kneeling on one knee, or leaning forward with an outstretched hand, complementing the perspective and silhouette of the costume. Because the character design inherently fits these postures, the range of motion felt quite natural. Lighting at the comic convention was rather chaotic, so these photos primarily relied on available ambient light. In post-processing, we mainly cleaned up distracting passersby and clutter in the background to emphasize the visual focal points created by the yellow and purple color coordination. Overall, this was a high-fidelity character attempt, and the final Anime-style photography outcome met all expectations.
