This Nemophila fairy Hatsune Miku styling is considered one of my recent attempts that required a lot of effort in clothing details and action design.

Starting with the clothing, the main body this time is a pure white leotard. The corset part features light blue vine embroidery, and the low-cut heart-shaped neckline is paired with a ruffled neck ring and a light blue bow, visually making the neck line look slender. The arms are split white long sleeves with fluffy ruffles and white spherical decorations at the cuffs. To increase visual layering, a large cluster of blue-green hydrangea decorations is fixed on both sides of the waist, beneath which is a white pleated skirt hem. The lower body features pure white stockings, with bright blue cross straps tied around the calves, extending directly to the blue high heels, which also feature flowers on the toes.

In terms of makeup and hair, to match the fairy feel, I wore bright blue contact lenses, used a reddish-pink eyeshadow for a large-area smudge, and applied blush heavier than usual so that the facial features wouldn't look flat under strong light. The cyan-green long wig was styled into twin tails, sprinkled with fine highlight glitter in the hair strands, and adorned with light blue flower hair accessories on both sides of the top of the head.

Regarding shooting poses, I referenced some basic ballet postures. For example, movements like straightening one leg, lifting the knee, and stretching the arms were mainly to showcase leg lines and body flexibility. To give the twin tails a flowing dynamic feel, I needed to coordinate with a fan to control the direction of the hair strands while keeping the core strength tight. For instance, the shot sitting on a cylindrical prop required maintaining a straight back with one leg straight and one leg bent, which actually has quite high demands on waist and abdomen strength.

The lighting for this shoot mainly relied on top backlight and side fill light, combined with a solid blue background to create an atmosphere where the edges glow and the overall feel is light, ethereal, and translucent. The texture of the white stockings and skin under soft lighting was presented very well, and post-processing color restoration for blue and white retained the original translucency. Photographer Shiyu is very experienced in action snapshots, recording many dynamic moments completely. The entire styling process from makeup testing to location shooting went quite smoothly, and the final photos successfully showcased both the exquisiteness of the clothing and the tension of the actions.
