When I first received the design reference for Nozomi Tachibana pajamas from Blue Archive, I already had the complete shooting concept planned out. The long green hair combined with pointed Elf ears are the character's defining traits; to keep everything looking natural, I trimmed the bangs on the wig ahead of time and carefully matched the skin tones on the Elf ears.
We chose a pure white setting for this shoot to best highlight the delicate texture of the light-blue pajamas. The photographer was Qiliu-kun from Dalian. After brainstorming together, we incorporated a white ceramic mug as a prop, using the natural folds of the bedsheets to evoke that relaxed feeling of having just woken up or lounging at home on the weekend.
In terms of posing, the first photo captures me sitting on the bed, leaning into the angle of my toes and knees to accentuate leg lines while using hand movements to break up any stiff, posed feel. In the second photo, holding the cup with a gentle torso twist utilizes the loose fit of the loungewear to add a touch of authentic daily life.
I also made specific adjustments to the facial makeup for the camera. To align with the Anime cosplay style, the base makeup was kept very clean, complemented by pink eyeshadow and blush to create a soft, sweet complexion. Even under bright white lighting, post-processing focused on softening shadows to keep skin looking fair and translucent while preserving the natural tones of the legs.
The overall lighting leaned bright and airy, with white curtains acting as a giant softbox. The photographer carefully composed the angles to preserve the fabric's textured layers against the white background. From prop prep to styling and wrapping up the shoot, the entire workflow ran seamlessly. Controlling wrist angles and gaze directions helped convey that characteristically lazy, playful mood, achieving the clean and refreshing visual tone I had envisioned.
