In this Wuthering Waves Denia styling, a luscious peach-pink hue runs through the entire color scheme. The pink-purple gradient wig reflects rich, dimensional layers under the lights, accented with black bows and sparkling gemstone hair accessories to make the facial contours look delicate and defined. To capture the sweet essence of this Pink-haired girl, I chose purple contact lenses and carefully blended the aegyo sal and under-eye blush.
For the wardrobe, the Lace outfit centered on a translucent pink lace long-sleeved top worn over a matching slip camisole. This sheer material catches light beautifully; under natural window light or cozy indoor amber lamps, it softly reveals the contours of the shoulders and collarbones, capturing a youthful charm without feeling overly exposed. The bottom is a black ruffled mini skirt, whose deep contrast accentuates the tenderness of the top.
To elevate the delicate charm of the styling, the feet were styled with a White thigh-highs outfit featuring intricate lace textures. The detailed weave of the hosiery is exceptionally photogenic on camera, flattering the ankles and softening the lines of the calves. During the shoot, I consciously controlled the positioning of my legs; for instance, when curling up on the sofa hugging my knees, slightly pointing the insteps allowed the lace socks to wrap smoothly over the toes in an organic curve.
I explored two distinct setups during this session. The first was set on wooden floorboards using a wooden chair as a prop, draped with a gray knit blanket and backed by storage boxes and a mannequin head to cultivate an authentic, lived-in personal space under warm amber, subtly vintage lighting. The second setup moved to a light brown sofa set against a dark wooden door adorned with sticky notes that injected an effortless touch of daily life—my absolute favorite part of the set. On the sofa, I comfortably transitioned between looking back while seated sideways and hugging my knees facing forward. The sideways angle, using an arm to partially veil the shoulder, added a hint of languid ease; hugging my knees felt sweeter and visually elongated the leg proportions. In practice, to achieve the most relaxed expressions, I usually asked the photographer for a few initial cues before settling into my own angles.
For post-processing, I prioritized retaining authentic skin textures. The lighting fell smoothly and evenly across the face throughout the shoot. Immense thanks go to the crew for their meticulous lighting setup—especially fine-tuning the strobe positions so that the pink wig appeared airy and translucent in every frame. Guided by the core aesthetic of a peach-sweet Pink-haired girl paired with comfortable, casual indoor attire, the overall set breathes with domestic warmth.
