[Hsin cosplay] Wuthering Waves: Prism's Illusion, Heart's Illumination

This time, I'm bringing you a cosplay of Hsin from Wuthering Waves. When I first started prepping this look, the biggest headache was definitely the massive pair of white plush beast ears and the tail. To give them a natural, fluffy texture, I spent a lot of time grooming and styling them in advance. The costume features a bold black, red, and blue color-blocked design with gemstones inlaid on the chest, sleeves adorned with black-and-gold starburst bracers, and richly layered fabric at the waist and skirt that looks remarkably textured under the lights.

For the makeup, to capture the character's cool yet enchanting and bewitching aura, I went with deep reddish eyeshadow paired with red contact lenses and a classic red lipstick, carefully drawing her signature red mark in the center of my forehead. For hair, I chose a pure white long straight wig with blunt straight bangs, accented with golden tassel hair accessories on the side. The finished makeup look carried an intense visual impact.

The studio temperature was actually quite chilly on the day of the shoot, but I still insisted on going barefoot. A white plush rug was spread across the floor, surrounded by red maples and lanterns casting warm yellow light; together with the wooden screens and bookshelves, the atmosphere was instantly maxed out. In front of the camera, I tried various leaning and leg-raising poses, keeping my lines as elongated and poised as possible while maintaining a confident, alluring gaze.

A special shout-out to photographer @GG🐷, who put tremendous thought into mastering the light and shadow. The warm yellow lantern light spilled over the white wig and plush ears, casting a soft, delicate rim texture along the edges. We were constantly discussing angles throughout the shoot, adjusting poses multiple times to capture the absolute best expressions—the foot close-ups and leg lines in particular were framed with meticulous care.

The entire shoot went very smoothly. Although wearing all the plush accessories and holding these poses drained quite a bit of stamina, seeing the finished shots made everything completely worthwhile.
