This set of photos is specially prepared for the DCST Experience Officer application, with an overall plan of six different visual style shooting schemes. From scene construction to camera movement, I hope to convey a multifaceted and rich anime texture in convention culture through Cosplay photography. In this proposal, the worldview of Wuthering Waves serves as the inspirational background, but it is not limited to the depiction of a single character; instead, I attempt to blend different elements into my own visual language.

For instance, the fox-ear sword-wielding look in Picture 1 mainly adopts dynamic snapshotting, cooperating with the flowing red ribbons to create a sense of suspension. This movement is actually a great test of body control. To achieve the lightweight and elegant state in the frame, I needed to overcome the center of gravity shift caused by the props and repeatedly practice the sword-swinging action. Fortunately, the collaborating photographer was highly synchronized, capturing the most natural split second.

Picture 3 puts quite a bit of effort into the snowy atmosphere, with the focus placed on rendering a cool and desolate environment. To match that lightweight yet sharp temperament, the costume selects a tailoring that integrates traditional elements. In this type of pose with strong motion, the hardest part is how to maintain the drape and layering of the clothing to avoid looking cluttered in the shot.

The blue fire special effect in Picture 4 is a true highlight of this challenge, emphasizing the dynamic flow of the flames and the exact moment the feathers scatter during the shoot. Through the precise cooperation of early action design and post-production special effects, the originally static indoor scene was transformed into an arena interwoven with fire and wind. It is worth mentioning that this set of movements not only needs to maintain visual tension but also accounts for the natural formation of clothing folds—truly, the mastery is revealed in the details.

Template 5's motorcycle graffiti style features my favorite cyberpunk elements. Under a background filled with industrial metal textures, casual props like pink bubblegum and spray paint cans showcase a fashion sense closer to modern streets. This set of photos deliberately lowers the environmental brightness in terms of color, using high-saturation graffiti color blocks to focus the visual center, creating a feeling of breaking traditional anime norms and heading toward street reality.

The pink floating look in Picture 6 extensively utilizes digital cubes and pixelated special effects. To present this dreamy tech visual effect, I utilized gradient highlights in the hair and makeup, along with custom-made high-tech straps and a white-and-blue gradient matte material. Cooperating with the light pollution effects in post-production, the entire character appears suspended in mid-air. Such a lightweight and ethereal composition poses high requirements for the camera's focal length control, but fortunately, the final presentation is quite dreamy.

In addition, this complete accounting of styling design is not only an aesthetic expression of vision but also serves as my identity card when interacting with fellow enthusiasts at the venue. For this DCST Experience Officer application, I specifically discussed things with the hair, makeup, and styling team for a long time during the early communication stage, wanting to present as rich a visual experience as possible. Excellent convention shooting not only requires the support of personal expressiveness but also needs a wonderful integration with the venue's lighting and space. I feel that treating every single session seriously is responding to everyone's love for anime culture. Now everything is fully prepared, and I sincerely hope to experience the carnival and emotion of this summer anime feast together with everyone at this year's Qingdao Anime Expo.
