This time, I'm sharing a set of Cosplay convention photos of the Matador in the world of Identity V. On the day of the shoot, the venue was styled with extensive blue drapes, paired with white blossoms, pearl garlands, and little fish ornaments suspended in the air. The marine and dreamy ambiance of the entire setting aligned seamlessly with this costume's theme. A lot of effort went into everything from layering the wig to fine-tuning facial makeup details to present the best possible state.

Regarding the costume, the white inner tunic features excellent drape, paired with heavy golden rigid collar armor adorned with teal textured motifs, which looked stunning the moment I put it on. For the arms, I adopted an asymmetrical sleeve design: one side features a blue-and-white ice-crystal textured sleeve with geometric patterns, while the other is a green-based gauntlet with gold trim. Combined with the black corset and cascading printed fabric, the entire look created rich depth before the camera. Despite having to walk around and adjust positions frequently throughout the day, the costume's fidelity was top-notch with solid structural support, keeping its shape cleanly during the shoot.

For makeup and styling, I deliberately chose light-colored contact lenses paired with a cool-toned fair foundation, smudging subtle reddish tones around the eyes and tracing tear-like lines to fit the character's ethereal and aloof disposition. The golden hair ornament on the head and the flowing fin-like ear cuffs by the sides served as finishing touches, reflecting a brilliant luster under overhead lighting. During Convention photography, the photographer was meticulous with lighting, accentuating facial dimensionality without overexposing the highlights on the wig, creating a lighting effect reminiscent of underwater refractions.

The handheld prop was a substantial element in this set of Cosplay convention photos—a scepter featuring an intricate black-and-gold metallic structure. When actually handling it, the weight of the metal parts combined with the layered outfit meant I had to stay constantly mindful of core balance while striking the crouching and arm-raising pose shown in Photo 2. Photo 1 is a bust close-up, highlighting facial expressions alongside collar armor and sleeve details; Photo 3 features a standing stance holding the scepter, visually emphasizing character stature and overall costume proportions.

This Convention photography session took place at the MoeKa Comic Con venue, where clear, luminous lighting and surrounding blue tones added a tranquil quality to the images. Although convention venues have high foot traffic and can be noisy, the chemistry between the photographer and my partner was spot on, quickly capturing the desired mood. Overall, this Matador look is truly unique, blending ornate golden accents with the stark coolness of a colder palette. On the shoot day, the concept of Dasein without a dwelling merged seamlessly with this blue stage set, giving the captured photos immense narrative tension. As a set of Cosplay convention photos, it thoroughly documented the character's presence across multiple angles—an exhilarating photoshoot experience, and I'm thrilled to have brought this expression to life with the team.
