After finishing this set of photos for Cyrene Cosplay, looking back, I still feel that the light and shadow after the convention are perfectly suited for this character who carries a slightly dreamy, hazy feel. For the makeup, I intentionally kept a translucent base and emphasized that signature reddish flush around the eyes. Paired with the layered trimming of the wig, I hoped to recreate that temperament hovering between reality and illusion.

The hem and cuffs of the coat have many details, with their textures and patterns clearly visible under the indoor light. To present natural postures during the shoot, I tried several different movements, including sitting on my knees, resting my chin on my hand, and holding a book. Especially in the last picture, the environment with petals scattered on the ground perfectly matches the character's atmosphere, which carries a hint of melancholy from parting.

The meaning of Roleplay and Anime cosplay lies in freezing these moments through the lens; every press of the shutter is a concrete expression of one's understanding of the character. While organizing the photos, I felt my grasp of Cyrene from Honkai: Star Rail deepened a bit more, slowly finding the right vibe from the gaze to the props in hand for this piece of Convention photography.
