These convention photos of Qingxiao have finally been successfully completed. From the makeup test to the actual shoot at the convention, I planned every detail in detail beforehand. First, regarding the wig, achieving a lightweight feel for Qingxiao's iconic gradient blue hair is quite a test of trimming. To handle the ahoge on top of the head and the white hair accessories, I used hairspray for layered setting, ensuring it maintained a fluffy arc even during high-intensity walking at the convention. In terms of makeup, to fit the character's cold feel, I specially chose deep-sea blue contact lenses, blended the eyeshadow with light blue and silver-white, and paired it with a low-saturation lipstick, trying my best to present that aloof yet sharp gaze.

I really love the overall texture of this costume. A Chinese-style standing collar combined with a two-dimensional fantasy style, the white-and-blue fabric features exquisite hidden patterns and golden cloud embroidery, and the metal accessories on the chest and waist also have a weighty feel. For a better camera effect, I cinched the waistline very tightly, and the skirt length is just right to reveal the full leg lines. Special mention goes to the paired white pantyhose; I chose a style with lace wavy borders and hollowed-out designs, where the slight compression at the thighs not only flatters the leg shape but also adds a lot of visual layering, definitely a major bonus for this styling. To allow for more movement in the convention photos, I paired the shoes with thick-soled white high heels, which both elongated the proportions and were relatively easy to walk in.

The blue long sword in my hand is the centerpiece of this shoot. The sword body is slender, and although weight reduction was done, holding it and posing with one hand still requires engaging core strength. The challenges at the convention site are actually many, especially the translucent long ribbons. Because the material is extremely prone to tangling, I needed to cleverly use inertia during positioning and turns to let the gauze naturally flutter. The photographer happened to capture the moment when I swung the sword and pointed forward, full of that aura of slashing impermanence and breaking all of creation's magic. The overhead lighting inside the venue was quite harsh, so to keep the facial lighting and shadows clean, I tried my best to keep my chin slightly raised and find angles to avoid shadows. Although this outfit looks ethereal, wearing it for a long time still leaves the waist feeling very tight. If fellow cosplayers are preparing to wear this set, it is recommended to sew a few hidden snaps at the fixed positions of the ribbons for much greater stability. Being able to perfectly restore Qingxiao's styling on site made all the effort worthwhile.
