This Lina van der Meer cosplay is finally meeting everyone. To capture the tactical feel of codename "Butterfly" in Delta Force, a lot of preparation went into everything from the costume to the gear. The shirt is a custom olive green short sleeve, with the hem specially cropped to match a waist-baring look, layered with a black tactical chest rig and webbing on top, plus gray arm guards and fingerless gloves on the arms, creating a strong sense of overall layering. The shiny wide-brimmed hat and goggles on top are the soul of the look, paired with reddish-brown slightly curly short hair, perfectly fitting the character's crisp temperament. The black leather brim catches highlights wonderfully under the lighting, exuding rich texture.

In terms of makeup, to highlight the character's traits, I dotted dense freckles across my cheeks and the bridge of my nose, wore light grayish-blue contact lenses, and chose a plump, rosy shade for the lips. The eye makeup wasn't drawn too exaggeratedly, focusing primarily on emphasizing a sharp gaze. During the shoot, to showcase the power of a tactical girl, I tried many challenging poses, such as kneeling on one knee while supporting the gun, and that extremely low squat seen in the photos. When aiming with the gun, the prop rifle equipped with a scope and silencer actually carried a certain weight, requiring core strength from the waist, abdomen, and arms to steady the center of gravity while maintaining a composed facial expression. The purple blade of the prop dagger was also eye-catching, and holding it in a defensive stance took a long time to find the most perfect angle.

The combination of camouflage pants and tactical boots gives the lower half a more grounded and solid look, while the tactical drop-leg bag at the waist and knee pads not only added details but also provided great support when striking poses. These photos were shot in an indoor hall, where the reflective floor greatly enhanced the spatial sense of the frame. I really love this rugged yet feminine style; through the coordination of clothing, props, and actions, I hope to pull everyone into that intense and thrilling tactical atmosphere. Putting on and taking off this gear is indeed quite troublesome, especially with the numerous buckles on the arm guards and tactical vest, but seeing the final photos makes it all worthwhile—especially the depiction of the leg and waist lines, which possess even more tension than imagined. To capture a low angle, the photographer kept squatting on the ground looking for perspectives, and just adjusting the lighting and positioning took quite a bit of time. Every click of the shutter is a concrete manifestation of my understanding of the character.

Regarding the force application for tactical movements, the low squat truly tests the flexibility of ankles and knees; to avoid looking bulky, the center of gravity must be pressed backward while keeping the gun steadily mounted. I especially love the hand close-up shots, where the hard armor plates on the back of the gloves contrast against the cold metallic sheen of the firearm, and the fluorescent green ring straps on the arm guards add a touch of sci-fi color. This time, immense effort was poured into the texture of the gear, such as the Velcro and badges on the tactical vest and the webbing on the waist pouch, trying to replicate real-world configurations as closely as possible. I hope everyone enjoys this version that balances combat capability with personal charm, and I will be exploring more interesting styles in the future.
