Gearing up in this Arknights Electric arc setup was far more complex than anticipated; the tactical webbing, harness straps, and various rig attachments on the jacket demanded considerable time whenever suiting up or changing. The silver-grey wig required careful layering and firm styling. The headpiece—combining black feather plumes with red and white floral accents—underwent multiple micro-adjustments to strike a balanced, polished silhouette on camera.

On shoot day, we used a Nikon ZR body paired with the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens. Outdoor light in Sydney was intensely bright with steep midday contrast. To prevent facial blowouts, we scouted sheltered architectural alcoves across the open rooftop. The 35mm focal length excelled for environmental portraiture, cleanly contextualizing the convention venue's architectural lines and surrounding greenery. The session was a blast. I specially prepared Pac-Man style ghost props; their vivid red and yellow colors popped dynamically against the dark jacket. The gloves feature a black back contrasted by fluorescent pink palms, with reinforced structured fingers that rendered finger-guns and heart gestures with sharp, crisp definition. I explored varied stances across the rooftop: perching atop concrete ledges with crossed legs elongated lower-body proportions cleanly, pairing tailored shorts with chunky-soled combat boots to accentuate height. When sunlight struck overhead, backlighting carved out a luminous halo along the hair strands, casting organic flare into the lens.

Looking closer at the costume, the cyan-accented zippers and translucent utility pouches on the jacket carried substantial tactile weight, while multi-colored beaded chains draping from the waist introduced playful flair.
