The character I cosplayed this time is Lina van der Meer from Delta Force, also commonly known as Butterfly. With a full set of tactical gear and side-braided hair, the overall look is captured quite capably. Starting from the preparation phase, a lot of thought went into choosing the fabric for this military green tactical jacket, as it needed to ensure a sharp silhouette in front of the camera without being too heavy and restricting movement. The jacket has many details like attached red cloth strips and tactical straps, and the embroidered badges on the shoulders were recreated as close to the original version as possible. Although they are only local embellishments, they are the key to elevating the overall quality.

The black leather peaked cap paired with large reflective goggles can be called the visual core of this makeup and styling. The goggles have a strong texture, reflecting the light of the surroundings and creating a wonderful sense of layering between the face and the cap. The wig is in flaxen light golden brown, specially styled with side braiding. During styling, hairspray was used to fix the direction of the hair strands, ensuring that the braided knots at the ends would not easily come undone even when wearing a cap.

For the makeup, I focused on intensifying the depth of the eyes, using earth-toned eyeshadow as a base, elongating the eyeliner to add sharpness, and dotting a few freckles to make the character look closer to her actual state of fighting in the harsh environment of Delta Force. The lip color chosen was a nude orange shade, which is not overly intense and perfectly grounds the overall tactical style.

The shooting day was actually very sunny, and the outdoor light brought out an excellent sheen on the military green of the tactical suit and the leather on the accessories. When interacting with my partner for convention photos and posing with props, I needed to adjust my posture as much as possible to exude that sense of composure and calmness when facing critical moments on the battlefield. In fact, wearing this military outfit in hot weather is indeed a heavy burden, but for the final presentation of the cosplay, this bit of sweat is totally worth it. Being able to wear this character costume and immersively experience the atmosphere of special operations made me feel exceptionally satisfied.
