This time I'm bringing you Mai Xiaowen's tactical style look from Delta Force. The entire gear set, from the digital camouflage top to the black leather tactical pants and army green tactical vest, recreates the in-game details as much as possible for every webbing strap and buckle. Especially that chest rig with the claw-scratch badge, along with the leg straps and dagger sheath, instantly put me into character once worn. The black tactical face mask and silver short hair not only cover most facial features but instead make my gaze focus more on the target, bringing out that cold, crisp tactical aura immediately.

For the outdoor shoot, we specifically chose this dark blue-toned light and shadow environment, which perfectly fits the night battle or indoor raid atmosphere in the game. The tactical dagger in hand is a prop, but holding it sub-consciously made me strike aiming and thrusting postures, because Mai Xiaowen herself is an operator known for agility and high burst potential. Players who have played Delta Force should know that her skills and positioning heavily rely on execution. This shooting game cosplay also tries its best to embody that nimble tension in the poses, rather than just standing stiffly, but being in a state ready to strike at any moment.

Regarding the material choice for the costume, the matte texture of the leather pants contrasts beautifully with the grid pattern of the top, and the support from the tactical lower back keeps the overall posture upright. To enhance the sense of real combat, I even used reflective spray so that the metal accessories reflect a hint of cold light under the illumination. The photographer snapped a few dynamic split seconds during the shoot; although the movements were large, the gear didn't shift much, showing that the binding craftsmanship this time is completely reliable.

Actually, this kind of tactical style cosplay tests details and storage the most—small items in pockets, the tightness of straps, and even the breathability of the mask can all affect the final photo results and one's own comfort. This session took about three hours, from adjusting weapon angles to re-securing leg loops, before obtaining these few satisfying frames through repeated adjustments. Although they are static photos, I hope viewers can feel that sense of tactical stealth and the pressure of being ready to breach the door at any second.

The character Mai Xiaowen herself is very charming, acting as both a scout and an assaulter. Being able to recreate her in my own way this time, from makeup and hair to gear and expression, made the entire process incredibly thrilling. I hope friends who love tactical styles and shooting game cosplay can feel that authentic sense of immersion from this—not just looking like the character on the surface, but having the temperament keep up to consider it complete.
