Preparing this Client photo showcase for Alhaitham, Scribe of the Akademiya, actually took considerable time. From selecting the theme and drafting the script to finalizing the makeup, styling, and set design, every step underwent careful deliberation. What attracts me most about Alhaitham isn't just his appearance, but his aura—detached from the crowd yet possessing absolute control over his surroundings. This rational trait required a minimalist approach in both camera language and body expression.

Let me first discuss our makeup and styling focus, centered on the keywords \"aloofness\" and \"sharpness.\" The silver-gray wig underwent multiple rounds of trimming to adjust the layering and fringe angle, striving to reproduce his signature effortless yet crisp hair strands. As for the costume, the teal-blue asymmetrical cape paired with black-and-gold leather inner attire and gloves offers rich layering that demands structured tailoring. In particular, the eye-shaped gold-rimmed shoulder piece and the metallic arm guards carry textures that directly determine whether the proud demeanor of an Akademiya scholar stands convincing.

To present different dimensions of this character, we set up several starkly distinct sets during the shoot.

The special effects scene with glowing green lines is one of my personal favorites. I attempted to use light, shadow, and the trajectory of the prop sword to materialize the sharp precision of his elemental power. This set aims to convey that he is not merely a desk-bound scholar buried among archives and documents, but also a formidable combatant with sharp execution.

By the wooden table piled with antique books and maps was the set specifically crafted for his identity as a scholar. Sitting on a leather sofa with one hand propping up my chin while flipping through thick manuscripts, I didn't need elaborate movements—just restoring that calm composure amidst a torrent of information. That effortless posture of mastering the full scope of knowledge with a simple turn of the page is closest to his daily state.

Furthermore, we explored a more emotional expression, such as lying down while holding a red spider lily. Under low-key lighting, the silver-white hair strands and vibrant crimson flowers formed a striking contrast, adding a touch of mystery and aesthetically delicate fragility to the scene.

The shots wrapped in heavy silver iron chains, leaning forward with an outstretched reaching hand, were designed entirely to showcase character tension and atmospheric presence under specific scenarios. The cold metal echoes his calm blue eyes, freezing body postures to convey a sense of resolve and strength that overcomes adversity.

The final profile shot looking back against a pure white backdrop is, in my opinion, the composition best suited for the main cover. The pristine background showcases the complete outfit without distraction. This minimalist studio shoot clearly reveals the cape's flow, the waist tailoring, the leather glove texture, and the overall body proportions with crisp visual clarity.

Portraying a highly intelligent character with such an independent personality poses genuine challenges in managing micro-expressions. Because he hides emotions behind a calm facade, I couldn't lead the lens with exaggerated feelings; instead, I relied on eye contact and subtle pauses in body movement to convey meaning. Before the camera, looking neither rigid nor overly enthusiastic—this \"perfectly calibrated distance\" was the most fascinating part of this cosplay endeavor.

Prop details were equally crucial in this shoot; aged parchment scrolls, antique hardcover books, and metal chains all underwent weathering treatments beforehand to match the atmospheric tone. Managing so many set transitions and prop shifts proved a substantial test of shooting pace and energy. Yet seeing every scene hit the intended visual marks upon receiving the final images brought immense fulfillment—a joy unique to cosplayers when one's interpretation of a character comes to life through imagery. Every shoot is a fresh understanding of the character; I hope this visual showcase allows everyone to feel both the everyday life and hidden edge of the Akademiya's Scribe.
