The final retouched photos of this Misaki bunny girl outfit shot under a bar scene can finally meet everyone. I have organized a set of previews in advance; when there is ample time in the future, I might do other content extensions around this theme.

Speaking of the hair and makeup this time, handling the long blue curly hair and the bow hair accessory on top of the head posed some challenges. To restore that layered hairstyle in the setting, I trimmed the wig in advance and made it into a variant style of double buns. Meanwhile, the patent leather material of the bunny girl costume means it reflects light very easily. During lighting setup, I needed to constantly watch out for overexposure and control the highlight ratio, otherwise the overall texture would appear distorted. The tailoring of this outfit is quite fitted, and paired with the white collar and small bowtie, it has both the liveliness of a bunny girl and preserves that unique temperament inherent to the character itself.

The shooting location this time was chosen at a highly atmospheric bar. I really love the environmental elements composed of those neatly arranged wine bottles in the background and the neon signs lighting up on the wall. When shooting this set, I hoped to present a state that is somewhat lazy yet loses no tension.

In the first picture, I sat sideways on the bar counter. This sitting posture and display of leg lines can beautifully highlight the luster of the patent leather material under natural light, and the texture and expressiveness of the black stockings are also highly eye-catching details. The second one is a close-up bar counter portrait, slouching in front of the bar with hands crossed cradling the lower jaw. This angle perfectly combines the facial close-up with the attire, concentrating the visual focus on the facial features and the white collar.

Quite a few interesting things actually happened during the shooting process. Because patent leather clothes generate intense reflection spots under bar lights, a slightly larger movement range by the model would produce a visual effect of alternating light and dark. Therefore, the photographer needed to pick out the single most perfect frame of light and shadow from dozens of discarded shots. Post-processing retained the dim tonality of the scene, with a focus on strengthening the contrast of the main subject, allowing the colors of the makeup and hair strands to be better presented through the ambiguous lighting.

Every time going for an outdoor shoot is actually a new attempt. This bunny girl look not only requires restoring the costume as much as possible, but the movement performance also needs to fit that sense of composure inherent to the character itself. From trial makeup and styling to posting the pictures today, it took tossing and turning through two or three weekends to finish shooting the film, and it almost crashed in the middle due to sheer exhaustion. As a hobbyist, being able to turn my own ideas into images through a cosplay photoshoot is a very worthwhile thing to record in itself. The preview images will just be shared up to here this time; if no accidents occur, more pictures of this theme will be sorted out in the future.
