[Kisaki cosplay] Blue Archive Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo Sweater Outfit Record

On Day 2 of the Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo, we were fortunate enough to encounter a delightfully sunny afternoon. Having prepared this Kisaki winter sweater outfit for a long time, I finally managed to finish this photoshoot during that brief window when the light was at its most comfortable.

Checking the weather forecast beforehand, many people were worried about the weather on Day 2, and I had indeed considered bringing a clear umbrella as a backup prop. Fortunately, the sun broke through the clouds in the afternoon; though brief, the quality of light was extraordinarily soft. Compared to indoor studio shoots, this genuine sense of light with natural warmth brought out the textures of the sweater and accessories in a much more vivid and organic way.

For this character, I deliberately bypassed heavy and elaborate formal outfits, choosing a more casual, comfy sweater look instead. The white plush earflap winter hat on my head felt wonderfully soft, adorned with a light blue bow that looked gentle and clean under the soft sunlight. Paired with long straight blue hair, I spent considerable time the previous evening perfecting the curve of the bangs and side tresses—aiming to accurately recreate the character's hair features while keeping it airy and natural rather than stiff. During the shoot, even a gentle breeze gave the hair strands a lovely dynamic feel.

As for the wardrobe, I prepared an off-white sleeveless knit turtleneck top. Given the heavy foot traffic at convention venues, wearing traditional bulky winter garments can easily throw off the silhouette's balance, making it look heavy. The sleeveless knit design retains the winter mood while visually appearing much sleeker. The white plush wrist cuffs on my arms served as a cozy highlight, which, together with the delicate gold bracelet on my wrist, created a cold-versus-warm detail contrast that echoed this ambient mix of crisp cool air and warm sunshine.

On the lower half, I paired white high plush socks adorned with small pom-poms at the cuffs, creating a unified detail connection with the hat's accessories. In truth, shooting outdoors meant my arms felt a bit chilly, but the abundant sunlight at that moment helped dispel the slight chill. Sitting on my knees on a white cushion with the soft curves of a rattan chair, white pillows behind me, and translucent green plants at my side, this scene perfectly matched my vision of a "winter courtyard" atmosphere. Turning slightly with a backward glance enriched the display angles of the outfit, allowing the knitted fabric textures and fine hair details to be preserved beautifully in frame.

Behind every shoot lies thorough preparation. To avoid the crowded convention grounds outside, we specifically picked a relatively quiet corner, coordinating with the photographer to complete the shoot within a limited window. The shooting process was relaxed, allowing me to immerse deeply into character. For post-processing color grading, rather than going for a heavy, saturated style, I preferred preserving the natural depth of light and shadow, letting the light-colored attire merge with dappled sunlight to create a breathable, comfortable aesthetic.

Being able to appear at the Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo in this outfit and record these moments has made me thoroughly satisfied. Embodying the sweater version of Kisaki allowed me to preserve her core character traits while infusing a relaxed convention atmosphere. The process of capturing this set has become one of my warmest memories from attending this expo.
