This outdoor Arknights Fiammetta cosplay set, captured with the Nikon Zf and Tamron 28-75mm G2, was shot on a sunny afternoon in Shanghai (ideal for Shanghai photoshoot booking concepts).

The sunlight on the day of the shoot was exceptionally intense; harsh direct light not only created high contrast but also made it difficult to keep eyes wide open. To avoid crushed blacks and blown-out highlights, we positioned ourselves near the park's green foliage and stone steps, taking advantage of dappled tree shadows on the ground and side-backlighting. This approach actually enhanced the dimensional depth of our Light and shadow portrait.

This costume is rich in detail: the combination of crimson twin tails, a crisp white shirt, and a black skirt creates a sharp, vivid contrast. The waist harness and thigh straps showcased great texture under the strong lighting. The core prop was the gun, which possessed substantial weight; maintaining an aiming posture for long periods caused arm fatigue, so I learned to leverage momentum during dynamic action captures—such as the single-leg forward stride shown in Photo 5—using body movement to stabilize balance while appearing energetic and natural.

Post-processing avoided overly dramatic color shifts, focusing mainly on balancing high-contrast highlights and shadows while preserving skin translucency. Because the light was so harsh, controlling facial angles required extra precision to ensure catchlights reflected clearly in the eyes, keeping the expression focused and stern in great synergy with the photographer.
