The large white wings in the backdrop were actually very heavy; their internal support structure was reinforced multiple times because maintaining balance while standing on such long stairs was essential. The wingspan was even broader than it appears on camera, and because the composition needed to match the building's proportions, we carefully adjusted angles throughout the shoot to prevent the wings from blocking the pointed arched doorways behind.

Standing midway up the stairs rather than at the very top or bottom preserved the stairs' sense of extension while placing my height in a comfortable relative position against the grand portal behind.
