Today's styling achieved a remarkably high level of overall completion. The wig was styled as voluminous, flowing pink hair with softly thinned, feathered ends. The pair of elongated white ear-like headpieces at the crown featured pink gradient tips and golden linework, looking exceptionally striking when worn. To coordinate with the hair accessories, a crimson bow and a white floral blossom were pinned to the right side. For makeup, blue contacts were specifically chosen to harmonize with reddish-pink blending at the outer corners of the eyes, creating a crystal-clear yet cool, alluring presence before the lens.
The wardrobe centered on a white blazer-style jacket tailored with crisp structure, accented with golden trim along the shoulders and cuffs, and finished with delicate white cherry blossom embroidery across the chest and sleeves. Layered underneath was a classic white shirt fastened with a plump red bow tie at the collar, pinned with an exquisite metal brooch featuring a butterfly emblem on a black ground. A wide black corset belt cinched the waist, anchored by a circular metallic emblem at the center to crisply define the waistline. For the bottom, a navy pleated miniskirt with razor-sharp folds held an elegant flare through gentle turns. To harmonize the chromatic palette, Black stockings were styled on the legs; while adding visual depth, they required mindful lighting to prevent blowout or harsh shadows, while a pink bunny charm at the skirt side injected an adorable, playful touch.
The centerpiece prop was the glowing pink longsword, equipped with vibrant pink LED strips along the blade and accented with cherry blossom decals. The hilt and guard were wrapped in pink and red fabric ties and ornate cord knots, requiring measured grip tension to keep the embellishments tidy. I wore black-and-white color-blocked gloves fitted with rigid golden armor plates along the cuffs, adjusting sword-wielding angles across different focal lengths to frame diagonal compositions between the blade and body, highlighting weapon dynamism without masking the face.
Regarding the set dressing, the shoot took place in an indoor studio filled with weeping cherry blossom branches. A dense canopy of pink petals hung overhead, framed by wooden lattice screens, round window portals, a low wooden tea table, and tea sets in the background. The warm ambient glow put camera white balance to the test, so color temperature was calibrated beforehand to cleanly separate skin tones from the background blossoms. Frontal softboxes provided fill light to sculpt the blue eyes and red lips with refined dimension. To prevent the floral density from feeling cluttered, the photographer employed wide apertures to melt foreground and background elements, locking visual focus squarely onto the character and the luminous blade. Moving through poses required ongoing adjustments to fabric pleats and weapon angles to sustain an organic flow. The entire shoot was a seamless experience, and I couldn't be happier with the final results.
