[Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay & Alice Cosplay] 2026 ChinaJoy Zenless Zone Zero Convention Photos

Documenting our shoot at the ChinaJoy 2026 expo floor—this time featuring a Duo cosplay of Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice from Zenless Zone Zero. The overarching tone was breezy, vibrant, and packed with summer energy, largely owed to the tactile props and on-site staging. Carrying water guns and inflatable swim rings while posing beside an on-site motorcycle against graphic backdrop panels matched the setting's aesthetic effortlessly.

Preparing the outfits was an extensive process. Ukinami Yuzuha's wardrobe incorporates complex structural accents, such as chest harnesses, mechanical hardware, and thigh straps. Her vivid crimson hair required meticulous maintenance to prevent high heat and sweat from compromising the styled locks. Alice's ensemble featured an off-the-shoulder white top paired with a pink apron, where the beast ears and spherical neck adornments demanded high precision; getting the balloon elements to carry the right tactile sheen took multiple revisions.

During the session, the photographer provided invaluable composition feedback. Amidst complex convention lighting, we actively sought angles with minimal background distraction. Utilizing the venue's black mesh partitions and red signage established punchy visual contrast. A close-up series with both of us standing in profile proved particularly effective: it cleanly displayed garment lines along the waist and legs while naturally cropping out passing crowds. Later, posing alongside the motorcycle required fine-tuning our stance to mirror the vehicle's orientation for flattering overall proportions.

Summer-themed styling places rigorous demands on physique control. Leading up to the shoot, I monitored my diet carefully to refine lines around the thighs and waist, ensuring the form-fitting leggings and crop tops presented clean, sharp silhouettes. While shuttling across the venue and resetting stances in the heat was exhausting, seeing the final Convention photos—especially those highlighting leg length and bodily curves—made every bit of preparation rewarding. During breaks, we continuously checked playback monitors to adjust flyaway strands and secure loose fibers with hairpins.

All told, shooting at ChinaJoy this year was a fantastic experience, surrounded by supportive photographers and welcoming fans. Reviewing the selects brings back fond memories of the day's creative teamwork. Given the chance, I would love to tackle even more personas from this universe, as there remains immense room to experiment with kinetic posing and wardrobe combinations.
