[Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: New Eridu Outfit Record & Convention Fragments

Just posted this set of archived photos—a record of this Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay at the convention. Equipment adjustments took quite a long time on the day of the shoot, but the moment the photos came out, everything felt completely worth it.

Let me talk about this gear first. The images show my complete look during the first half of the convention. However, as mentioned in the caption, towards the middle and end of walking around the event, the wig and head accessories became unbearable due to their weight. They might look light and cute in the photos, but in reality, wearing those metallic-textured headphone accessories along with the extra-long extended braids posed a serious challenge to my neck. After walking around for several hours, I really couldn't hold out longer and removed them, so my apologies for not maintaining the full look throughout the entire time.

As for makeup, I put a lot of effort into the eye makeup this time. To match the character's translucent yet sharp presence, I specifically chose pale blue-green contact lenses, while keeping the main eyeshadow tones grounded in earth colors. Eyelashes were applied cluster by cluster to emphasize a dynamic and lively feel. As for hair, everyone noticed those massive red twin braids, right? To achieve that fluffy volume, I stuffed plenty of hidden bobby pins at the roots and braid weaves so that even if it loosened slightly, it wouldn't collapse immediately.

Regarding outfit choices, this combination of a knit cardigan and a pleated skirt visually delivers the warm feel of a winter campus. The oversized bow tie and four-pointed star print on the clothing serve as the highlighting touches for the Anime-style fashion assembly. The material is a thick cotton-linen blend, which actually felt quite stuffy in the crowded, slightly humid convention environment, but for the sake of visual results during Cosplay photography, I just pushed through it.

When shooting these Convention photos, I must thank the photographer's guidance. Since the character concept has a very cool and dashing aura, I focused on tucking my chin while keeping a focused gaze. Lighting inside the venue was quite complex at the time; using top and side lights helped outline facial three-dimensionality while ensuring the crimson luster of the wig wasn't washed out in the frame.

Actually, every time I go to a convention, the happiest part is meeting fellow fans. Although movement in this outfit was quite inconvenient—to the point where raising my arms was difficult—raising a hand to strike a pose allowed me to immediately get into character. After taking off the wig in the second half, I went pure convention-shopping mode, which was a completely relaxed, different experience. For cosplay, accuracy is certainly important, but having fun at the venue and getting great shots neutralizes a lot of physical exhaustion.
