The Convention photos from the Firefly ACG Expo have arrived as scheduled, and the visual completeness delivered by this Genshin Impact Traveler Cosplay costume during the actual shoot is well worth documenting. When stepping onto the silver metal stairs at the venue for the shoot, the polygonal spotlights at the top combined with rows of circular light sources in the convention hall formed a deep array of bokeh in the lens, providing a nice sense of depth to the photos. The black-and-white paneled structure on the front of the costume, along with the blue-and-white gradient streamers, had its chromatic aberration well-controlled under indoor lighting, showing no obvious color bleeding.

The headpiece features a blue-and-white geometric structure paired with a long, straight golden wig, making the facial contours more defined. Despite walking around the exhibition hall for a long time, the wig maintained good volume at the top without collapsing from extended wear; secure fastening is a crucial point for a look that includes elf ear accessories. As for the props, the reflective texture of this long-handled weapon's painted surface under the lights met expectations, and paired with the small purple leather pauldrons on the shoulders, it perfectly balanced out the lightness of the overall outfit.

During the shoot, I tried three different postures: sitting on a high stool holding the weapon, which highlights the proportions and details of the equipment; a close-up of pulling my legs in while fixing my hair, which showcases facial expressions and the stability of the headpiece; and a standing, hand-raised frozen moment, which mainly captures the natural draping lines of the streamers in the air. The feet were paired with transparent thin-strap sandals and metal anklets; this choice of footwear with higher skin exposure unexpectedly shifts the visual focus of the lower body onto the leg lines, balancing out the complex paneling of the upper body. Throughout the subsequent walking and candid capturing, a relaxed grace between movements was well-maintained, thanks to the well-proportioned tailoring of the costume itself, which imposed no obvious restrictions on physical movement.

Since the blue fabric occupies a large area in this Cosplay costume, special attention must be paid to color temperature balance when setting up the scene and finding light, preventing color cast issues caused by the camera's automatic white balance correction. In a chaotic indoor environment like an anime convention, being able to enhance the character's aura using the live bokeh is quite a test of positioning coordination during the initial lighting setup. Although this Cosplay costume features many elements, it doesn't feel cluttered due to over-stacking. Behind every successful photo set lies a wealth of considerations regarding color, lighting, and angles, which is always the most rewarding part of shooting at conventions.
