[Female Colleague Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Outdoor Photoshoot: Daily Outfit Pairing Red Hair Green Eye Makeup with a Big Bow

This time I challenged a Zenless Zone Zero style look with Red hair green eye makeup. From wig sculpting to wearing contact lenses, full preparations were made in advance for every detail. That standing hair strand at the top of the head took quite some time to fixate, ensuring it stays upright from all angles without looking stiff. The black choker around the neck and the gray-pink headphones with cute icons, paired with the large white bow and pink sailor collar, visually form a unified yet richly layered anime atmosphere. The thickness of the clothing fabric is just right for outdoor weather—neither too thin under the wind nor looking bulky when walking around.

Today's makeup focal point was mainly focused around the eye area. I specially selected a wide-area smudged red eyeshadow, forming a strong visual contrast with the green contact lenses on the pupils; this color-blocking pairing immediately set the look apart from everyday states. To make the eyes look brighter, I specifically added a touch of teary Aegyo Sal (under-eye highlight) before shooting, which was crucial for shaping the overall gaze. Standing on the outdoor gravel ground with open gray skies and distant urban buildings behind, this ambient lighting—though lacking harsh sunlight—actually made skin tones appear more natural and even. The wig swayed slightly in the gentle breeze, bringing a vivid, snap-shot spontaneity. Preparing for an Outdoor photoshoot always comes with unexpected situations, like hair strands catching gravel dust or dry contact lenses, but these are unique experiences and memories exclusive to outdoor shoots. The game screenshot saved on the phone in advance became a fun accent for this styling, making the entire set feel like more than just a solo showcase, but rather carrying a sense of story linkage.

From determining the styling to the final output, every single investment lets me deeply appreciate the difficulty from concept to execution. Yet precisely because of this, seeing myself present the expected result before the camera brings an matchless sense of accomplishment. Doing cosplay itself is a process of finding joy in details—from the parting of wig bangs to the drape of the ribbon tie, and whether wearing headphones crushes the hairstyle—every tiny link hides a challenge to overcome. Today went relatively smoothly overall in completing this styling shoot; although tiring, I'm extremely happy to capture these vivid moments. Maintaining a relaxed and fun creative mindset to feel the authentic joy brought by roleplay is perhaps the core meaning of doing cosplay.
