This time I am cosplaying Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero. To restore this outfit with techwear and gothic elements, I adjusted the fabric selection many times during the early stages. The main body of the clothing is a leather corset with semi-sheer black tulle, paired with a star-patterned short skirt and black stockings, aiming to present a cold yet mysterious cyberpunk texture overall.

The layering of this styling is very rich. The inner wear is a white lapel shirt with a crisp texture, and the star bow at the neckline is the finishing touch. Together with the black leather corset outside, it visually pulls the waistline in tightly. The black semi-sheer tulle long sleeves at the shoulders and neck are a clever design; they break the dullness of the all-black leather jacket, revealing a hint of skin, which, matched with the belt buckles on the arms, brings out that dangerous yet charming vibe of techwear. The lower body is paired with a black short skirt featuring silver-blue gradient star patterns, and when walking or sitting, the edge of the skirt naturally fans out.

To match the character's cool and alluring traits, I wore pointed ear props, and pinned a red-black bow and cross hairpin onto the short pink hair. A semi-sheer black lace mask covered half of the face, making the gaze appear even sharper instead. In terms of makeup, I deliberately deepened the eye makeup, chose purple-pink contact lenses, and went with a rich lip color, hoping to bring out a lazy yet aggressive feeling in front of the lens.

The shooting location was chosen to be a place similar to an abandoned computer room and electronics laboratory. Old server racks, mixing consoles, and monitors were stacked behind, and a large number of orange and black cable wires were scattered on the ground. The mannequin filled with wrapped yellow wires and the glowing transparent cylindrical glass cover added a lot of science fiction and mechanical feel to the frame.

In action design, I didn't want to appear too stiff, so most of the poses flowed along with the metal wireframe chairs and equipment in the scene. When sitting on the chair with legs crossed, the lines of the black stockings and strappy high heels can well extend the visual proportions. When leaning half-way against the equipment, I would slightly pull the neckline or adjust the straps around the waist, trying my best to showcase the layering created by the match of black stockings and the leather corset.

Light and shadow were the focus of our shoot this time. A lot of cool blue ambient light was used on-site, matched with the faint light emitted by the equipment screens, making the whole space present a chilling technological feel. However, to highlight the three-dimensionality of the subject, we added warm-toned lighting to the subject's face and light-receiving surfaces of the body. Under the contrast of cold and warm, the skin-revealing feel of the black tulle and the delicate gloss of the leather jacket were well accentuated. Under this light and shadow, the material contrast of the clothes became very intuitive.

Shooting while wearing a mask actually requires higher expression in gaze and body language, because without the assistance of facial expressions, all emotions must be conveyed through physical state. Whether lazily crossing legs while sitting on a metal chair, or leaning forward to look at the lens while standing on stacked machines, I hope to make the character appear as vivid as possible. Proxy, how would you evaluate such a styling where black leather and a white shirt collide?
