[Flandre Scarlet Cosplay] Scarlet Devil Mansion's Second Mistress May Day Convention Photos

Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I finally had the chance to bring this new look of Flandre Scarlet to the convention for a set of convention photos. The photographer chan I collaborated with this time is @Sakuya (@咲夜Sakuya), who is exceptionally good at capturing candid action moments. So even though shooting the whole set took a lot of physical stamina, the yield of great photos was extremely high. For fans of Touhou Project, every time you cosplay a character from the Scarlet Devil Mansion, there are many fun little elements to play with, such as this apple in my hand and the teddy bear in my arms, which are both small props used to recreate the character's settings.

The lighting inside the convention venue was quite complex, so we used a few outdoor strobe lights during the shoot to tone down the ambient light, highlighting the texture of the red skirt hem and pure white lace edges, which gave the frame the perfect contrast. The petticoat and pleats of this outfit are crafted to look very substantial, and together with the rainbow crystal wings on my back, even walking around slightly creates a wonderful dynamic effect. As a coser, every time I receive satisfying convention photos, I feel that all the hard work was completely worth it. During shooting breaks, I also ran into many fellow fans who came over to take photos together, and everyone was incredibly enthusiastic. I hope the Touhou Project series can always maintain its vitality, allowing more friends who love cosplay to participate and share their own understanding and recreation of the characters.
