[Phrolova cosplay] Wuthering Waves Firefly ACG Expo D3 On-Site Cosplay Photoshoot

At the Firefly ACG Expo D3 venue, taking advantage of the relatively soft lighting, I found a relatively open spot to shoot this set of Phrolova on-site photos. The white tulle skirt of this outfit has many layers, and the front-short, back-long design of the hem creates a great sense of extension when walking; however, since I wore white lace safety shorts underneath, I could open up my movements a bit without worrying about wardrobe malfunctions. To match the vibe of this character from Wuthering Waves, I specially styled this mint-green wig, braiding the long hair into a thick braid placed over one shoulder. The eye makeup used red colored contacts, and a lace-textured decoration was applied below the left eye to add a bit of a shattered, mysterious feel. Both the body and head are dotted with red red spider lilies elements, with slender and curled petals forming a strong color contrast with the white dress. Red ribbons droop from the chest; during shooting, I had to be extra careful not to let them tangle, and movements couldn't be too large, otherwise, the flower branches could easily snap. During the shoot, I kept holding that long red flower branch in my hand. Because the pedestrian traffic at the convention venue was huge, backgrounded by walking passersby, photographer @kk specifically brought a telephoto lens and used a large aperture to blur out the crowd in the background, which both highlighted the main subject and reduced the venue's clutter to a minimum. To find the right angle, we circled through several spots and finally chose this corner. In the first photo, I held the flower with one hand and turned slightly sideways. In the second shot, I looked down at the flower, focusing my gaze on the prop to make it look more natural. Later, I tried closing my eyes and looking up, as well as a dancing pose with both arms spread out to let the skirt hem and lace sleeves expand as much as possible. Because it was outdoor natural light, the light spots shining through the green leaves were very soft and looked very clean on the white clothes. To capture better results, I constantly adjusted my posture. For example, the pose in picture nine required slightly lifting the skirt hem and putting the weight on one leg, which nicely showcased the leg's lace Stockings and overall line sense. Although the hair was very long and heavy, as long as the head tilted slightly, the arc of the braid looked gorgeous. I particularly love the off-shoulder design and lace long sleeves of this styling, which not only showcase the collarbone and shoulder-neck lines but also carry a retro grandeur. In fact, shooting in a crowded and noisy environment like an anime convention really tests a photographer's candid skills. We shot at this spot for over half an hour, and passing fellow fans occasionally stopped to watch, but I tried my best to keep my concentration focused and immerse myself in the character's emotions. Sometimes, waiting for a breeze to blow up the skirt or waiting for the background crowd to disperse meant repeatedly lifting hands, turning around, and lowering the head. The whole process was quite physically demanding since the wig on top had some weight and I had to keep my hands steady holding the flower branch. Fortunately, @kk was very patient, catching the shutter speed accurately, and capturing many dynamic moments. The color tone of these photos is extremely bright; the combination of red, white, and green stands out strikingly in the frame, keeping it clean and crisp, marking a successful completion of this shooting task. From organizing the wig and adjusting the ribbons to communicating angles with the photographer, every step required careful attention, and I hope this on-site set showcases the character's unique texture.
