[Denia Cosplay] Wuthering Waves Denia World Line Anime Convention selfies

This World Line Anime Convention finally brought Denia from Wuthering Waves into reality. The most time-consuming part of cosplaying this character was the wig and makeup. To restore that layered pink-purple gradient, I trimmed and styled it for a long time in advance, and the ahoge on top of the head and the spiral curls on both sides had to be shaped arc by arc with hairspray. The contact lenses were chosen in purple, the eye makeup used a large area of pink tones, and the blush was intensified to reflect a girlish feel. The accessories are quite complicated: the blue metal collar around the neck, the gold chain embedded with a blue gemstone on the chest, and the white fluffy sleeve cuffs and black braided bracelet on the wrists—every piece needed to be carefully worn to ensure they wouldn't fall off while walking around the convention.

There were a lot of people at the anime convention scene, and the lighting was also quite complex. To take satisfactory anime convention selfies, I found several corners with better lighting. When taking selfies, I not only had to find angles, but also constantly pay attention to facial expressions and whether the hairstyle was messed up. The fluffy sleeve cuffs were especially easy to brush against the hair and needed to be re-arranged every once in a while. Cosplaying Denia this time, I felt that she is truly a wonderful girl. I put a lot of effort into figuring out her movements and gaze, capturing that gentle yet slightly playful temperament.

While wandering around the exhibition, I met many friends who recognized the character, and everyone was very friendly. Because the costume and props were relatively cumbersome, I paid special attention to avoiding bumping into others while walking and tried my best to keep the makeup intact. After returning to the rest area, the light happened to hit my face, so I raised my phone to record this moment. Looking at myself in the lens, although I sweat all day and the makeup was a bit patchy, the overall effect was quite satisfactory. The atmosphere of an anime convention is always exhausting yet happy, and it's a magical thing to immerse oneself in experiencing the life of another character in such an environment.
