The choice for this Cosplay was to put two characters with vastly different styles into the same frame. Furina's gorgeous theatrical sense and the agile aura of Mint from Neverness to Everness collided under the lens to create a highly interesting chemical reaction. To restore Furina's iconic "drama queen" temperament, I put a lot of thought into the fabric selection of the costume and the structural design of the headpiece, striving to recreate that elegant stage effect full of presence. Meanwhile, Mint's styling focuses more on the combination of a functional tech-wear feel and agility, and this stylistic contrast is one of the core highlights of this shoot.
At the shooting site, we tried to simulate many daily interaction details, aiming to bring out the daily atmosphere of "cake-loving silly Furina" and "silly cat Mint." From the way they hold props to their eye contact, every subtle movement strives to restore the characters' personalities. In terms of light and shadow processing, I paid special attention to the use of ambient light, striving to maintain visual balance during complex color transitions and avoid visual overload.
Although the production and shooting cycle was not short, involving a large amount of makeup polishing and venue communication, seeing how natural their interaction looks in the final product makes the chemical reaction of this cross-franchise crossover truly fulfilling. Balancing different character traits under a unified atmosphere is a part of the creative process that I deeply enjoy.
