For this white-and-blue Ganyu bridal look inspired by Ganyu, I discussed many details with the photographer during early prep. We wanted to faithfully recreate the character's aloof yet charmingly airheaded traits, so the key tone for the costume and set design was anchored on the keywords "ethereal elegance" and "lightness."

Regarding the costume, this dress design boasts rich visual layers. The upper bodice is a white tube top featuring a golden heart pendant at the chest, which serves as a striking visual anchor amid the pure white and light blue palette. The sleeves utilize a detached design, with transparent lace-trimmed chiffon sleeves draped around the arms, which not only softens shoulder lines but adds a gypsy-bride-esque languid charm. The short puffy skirt intentionally combines light-blue furry trim with lightweight tulle paneling, giving the overall styling excellent dynamic fluidity whether walking or sitting. Paired with the long white veil—especially its spread-out texture in Photo 2—the ethereal vibe instantly reaches its peak.

As for makeup and hair, pale ice-blue double braids are the character's signature feature, so hair sheen and strand arrangement were crucial in this shoot. Paired with white flowers and lace hair accessories, the overall purity of the look was elevated. The makeup wasn't heavy, prioritizing a clear, translucent complexion. Warm red tones were used in the eye makeup to add vitality, balancing out the extensive cool tones from the hair and outfit. Combined with natural highlighters, it gave me a porcelain doll-like soft texture before the camera lens.

Set arrangement was definitely a highlight of this shoot. White wooden louvered screens served not only as a background partition, but acted like a giant softbox, diffusely reflecting outdoor sunlight to make indoor lighting exceptionally even and bright. The bed featured a floral pattern bedsheet layered over with white gauze, while the floor was covered with a thick white plush rug. Decorated further with white wrought-iron birdcages and several tall white calla lilies, these arrangements perfectly aligned with the romantic, exquisite, and dreamlike atmosphere required by the bridal theme.

In terms of posing design, we leaned toward a "naturally relaxed" approach. Photo 1's posture sitting sideways on the bed with ankles crossed, hands gently holding the tulle on the skirt hem, felt like my most comfortable state while beautifully showcasing leg lines and dress details. Photo 2 raised the height slightly, sitting on a chair while holding up the veil—mainly to showcase the costume's back structure and overall spatial extension, creating an ethereal frame with the translucent veil. Photo 3 showed high heels taken off to the side, sitting on the bed edge barefoot or in white stockings, aiming to convey an intimate, slice-of-life charm that reduces distance with this Ganyu bridal persona.

Throughout the shoot, photographer @白茶清欢无别事 guided me on balancing an aloof elegance with sweet character charm. Although high-key lighting demands strict exposure control, the final skin textures and hair strand details came out remarkably clean. While this short dress skews toward a lightweight design in Cosplay outfit styling, this was precisely the "refreshing summer wedding" feeling we aimed for. During post-processing, we preserved low saturation and high brightness characteristics to avoid color casts, rendering the entire image like a dream on a sunny afternoon. I love this feeling of concretely bringing mind-conceived concepts into photo reality through Anime-style photography.
