This shoot took place in an authentic Liyue-style study set; red plum blossoms, circular lattice windows, and wooden tables matched the festive Lantern Rite atmosphere flawlessly. To authentically capture Ganyu's relaxed vacation ease, I deliberately adjusted my mindset beforehand to channel her rare moments of leisure away from endless administrative duties. This Ganyu Lantern Rite attire features an exceptionally clean blue-and-white palette, accented by a red hair accessory that serves as the perfect visual highlight, while golden embroideries lend a rich, tactile finish. Scheduled around Lantern Rite, the entire set was thoughtfully curated, with every prop enhancing the historic ambiance. The calligraphy brushes, scrolls, and silk round fans on the desk are quintessential staples of a classical study; holding them instantly heightened my sense of immersion. Because holding a writing brush requires natural poise, I practiced my wrist angles repeatedly to convey the refined grace of clerical work. In the shot holding the brush while glancing sideways toward the camera, you can appreciate the line of the arm as well as the deliberate tension in the fingertips. Later, switching to the round fan while sitting with crossed legs on a wooden bench brought out an entirely different charming, coquettish aura. Alternating between these two stances not only displayed different facets of the garment, but also enriched the visual variety of the photo set.

In terms of lighting, the photographer specifically utilized warm golden tones bouncing off the wooden screens, yielding splendid texture and luminous skin tones. The interior accents of red plum blossoms, rockeries, and a softly blurred background elevated compositional depth and dimensional layers, immediately pulling the viewer into the scene. The most satisfying aspect of this session was definitely the tailoring of the outfit. The high-slit blue cheongsam-style cut fit like a second skin, accentuating long leg lines while preserving graceful classical poise. The paired black stockings and slender stiletto heels added a touch of modern allure and charm. To avoid any wardrobe slips, the garment's tailoring underwent multiple fittings, striking a delicate balance between flattering body curves and ensuring freedom of movement. Posing before the lens demanded continuous micro-adjustments—elongating the silhouette in full-body frames while framing clean shoulder and neckline contours in half-body close-ups. The seated shots benefited tremendously from the creamy background bokeh, visually extending leg length through crossed postures. During breaks, perching on the wooden bench with crossed legs and fan in hand let me soak in that gentle maidenly grace. Because Ganyu naturally possesses an ethereal celestial aura, I maintained a serene, tender expression throughout, avoiding broad grins and instead alternating between downcast gazes and thoughtful stares. Discussing focal points with the photographer helped pinpoint how to infuse my gaze with a hint of gentle sweetness. Through seamless collaboration, the final frames turned out wonderfully, capturing every hair hairpin and bracelet without visual clutter. Post-processing focused on brightening skin tones while preserving the woodgrain textures of the environment, keeping colors warm, soft, and free of over-processed artifacts. Posing against the Lantern Rite setting truly allowed me to experience that rare, unburdened serenity, deeply immersing myself in Ganyu's well-earned holiday peace as the secretary to the Liyue Qixing.
