This Genshin Impact Sangonomiya Kokomi cosplay presents a clear, translucent deep-sea feel under the blue lighting atmosphere. The lighting setup during shooting was crucial: the key light was cool-toned, with a touch of purple light added on the side to simulate underwater refraction. The wig features long hair transitioning from pink to blue, secured at the crown with a hidden hairnet so it wouldn't loosen even during profile shots. The blue hair accessories carry a fin-like texture, matching the teardrop-shaped blue sapphire on the choker. The off-the-shoulder design required careful base prep to avoid any uneven skin tone or visible lines. The interplay of ruffles and stripes adds dimensional depth; angles were continuously adjusted during shooting so the intricate details of the outfit wouldn't overpower the character's elegance.

Posing with relaxed shoulders and my right hand resting naturally across my chest showcased the collarbone and chest accessories, creating an effortless, elegant silhouette. Though the prep was meticulous and adjusting the wig and garments took time, recreating the character's aura before the camera brought irreplaceable fulfillment. Packing up the props was tiring, but seeing the finished cool-toned photos made every effort worthwhile.

Preparation included adjusting the wig cap, garment anti-slip measures, and discussing exposure compensation parameters with the photographer for the blue lighting atmosphere. Each shutter press was a chance to re-examine my understanding of the character to bring the final images closer to everyone's vision. The hardest prep was balancing the matte fabric against the high-gloss gems to avoid distracting from the face. During retouching, specular reflections on the gems were softened, keeping only their translucency to focus attention on the eyes and makeup. To echo her deep-sea essence, I added a hint of shimmer to the eyeshadow so her gaze would catch a ripple-like glint when shifting eyes, adding deeper immersion to this Genshin Impact cosplay.
