This white studio shoot of Ganyu was conceptualized well in advance, aiming primarily to accentuate the ethereal lightness of the white-and-blue attire against a pure, seamless backdrop. Lighting conditions on the shoot day were ideal—the high-key illumination of the White studio photography setup made the sheer chiffon look exquisitely translucent. To harmonize with the gown, I prepared a bouquet of white and blue blossoms in advance, echoing the hues of the headdress and wig flawlessly.

First, discussing the wardrobe and styling: this Ganyu gown features a gentle white-to-blue gradient, with a white bandeau bustier top accented by side cutouts and gold metal charms. To bring out its tailored silhouette, internal support was needed to keep the bustline structured and poised. The wig was styled in her iconic bright blue, requiring the side braids to be woven with measured tension—neither too loose nor overly tight. Head ornaments included dark beast horns, a white floral circlet, and a sweeping bridal veil, cultivating a holy, dreamlike aura. The mini skirt is constructed with multi-layered lace and spliced chiffon, where the flowing blue-white gradient hem is endlessly captivating. For the legs, I wore semi-sheer over-the-knee White stockings trimmed with delicate lace cuffs; the fabric felt extraordinarily comfortable and stayed securely up without slipping, though walking on the studio floor still called for caution against snags. For footwear, I prepared white high heels.

The first frame is a half-body turn-and-glance composition. This angle highlights facial makeup and the clavicle line. The coin-tossing gesture was added spontaneously, infusing an air of casual spontaneity and quiet anticipation. The soft, diffuse lighting in this shot delineated facial contours crisply, making the golden necklace and sheer chiffon glow with luxurious texture. I consciously angled my shoulders to elongate the neck, casting an aloof, cool gaze toward the lens.

The second frame is a seated full-body composition—a pose that truly tested core stability. To showcase the sheer texture of the White stockings and elongated leg lines, I perched atop a prop box with both legs extending diagonally to one side, pointing my toes to visually lengthen leg proportions. The chiffon skirt hem cascaded organically across the floor like rippling water. Resting the bouquet across my lap with hands softly folded relaxed my posture, evoking a serene, contemplative ambiance. Within this framing, the combination of white stockings, the short skirt, and long legs introduced a tasteful touch of allure into the ethereal grace.

The third frame captures a standing full-body silhouette, fully displaying the garment's contours. Holding the flowers in one hand while gently lifting a sleeve with the other allowed the airy chiffon to drape naturally into downward lines. In a standing pose, subtly staggering the feet and anchoring weight onto one leg avoids awkward stiffness. Pulling back the shoulders, tucking the chin slightly, and wearing a gentle smile conveyed an approachable yet dignified elegance.

Throughout the session, I especially loved integrating the golden coin prop and flowers. Tossing the coin reflected a simple mindset: whether the shoot went smoothly or had bumps along the way, closing one's eyes and making a wish guarantees happiness in the end. As an avid cosplayer, white studios are notoriously unforgiving with details and Photo poses; without complex scenery to mask flaws, any bodily tension is instantly magnified. While shooting the seated frames, the photographer continually reminded me to keep my spine straight and chest open. Adjusting the floral grip also took multiple iterations, finding that resting fingers loosely along the stems created the most effortless, natural poise. White stockings under direct lights can be tricky with sheen, but fortunately, this pair offered a soft, matte finish that complemented the overall palette. Post-processing avoided heavy composites, relying mostly on raw captures paired with delicate color grading to preserve authentic skin and textile textures.

Tossing a coin is a simple gesture, but capturing the moment and seeing the final results made all the diligent preparation worthwhile. I look forward to carrying this creative energy forward in future Cosplay sharing sets.
