[Luo Tianyi cosplay] Riverside Little Dolphin Blue-Themed Official Shoot

For this riverside shoot featuring Luo Tianyi's Little Dolphin concept, the primary vision was highlighting the airy translucency of the white frilled trims and blue skirt against the water. The sunlight was quite strong on the day of the shoot with prominent glare off the river surface; the crimson bridge behind served as a fantastic compositional canvas, crafting an evocative warm-and-cool color contrast against the Blue-themed outfit.

In discussions with photographer Jackson during the shoot, we used the riverside railings as foreground leading lines. The third image was selected as the cover because leaning sideways against the railing elongated the leg lines while letting the pleated drape of the skirt fan out organically; paired with the clean silhouette of the high heels, the visual impact looked crisp and refined. Throughout the session, we stayed mindful of dodging harsh direct overhead sunlight, adjusting positions to work with backlight or side lighting so the garment's layered textures and fabrics could resolve cleanly.

The costume was crafted by Miriao Anime Costume Studio, featuring thoughtful color-blocked tailoring on the skirt and an intricately made bow at the back. The skirt's volume had just the right amount of puff without looking bulky in motion. For makeup, a clean and luminous base complemented the blue-gray wig, accented with red eyeliner that harmonized the overall visual cadence.

Across the shoot, I adapted my stances across varied framing depths. When shooting full-body compositions, hand placement is pivotal—lifting the skirt hem or extending an arm required experimenting with multiple angles to avoid stiff posing. Shooting this riverside Outdoor photography was somewhat breezy, yet the overall lighting and open landscape aligned beautifully with the character's serene, ethereal charm, yielding wonderfully organic results.
