[Amiya cosplay] Arknights: Studio Photoshoot Record of the Bunny ears Girl

This Arknights Amiya cosplay studio photoshoot record took quite a lot of thought and effort from preparation to shooting. This time, I prepared three distinct looks: a sailor uniform, a maid outfit, and a black-and-white formal dress, aiming to present Amiya's cute charm from different angles. The core of the styling is those Bunny ears, which required careful angle adjustment to avoid looking stiff while matching different hairstyles across each costume. The wig selected was brown with subtle shimmering accents, and the colored contact lenses were a translucent, vibrant blue that looked stunning under flashlights.

Props were essential during the shoot: a blue plush bunny, a prop book with blue covers and black text, and an exquisite plate of omurice. Holding these props made poses feel much more natural. The sailor uniform look showed a bit of leg; to achieve smoother lines, we adjusted the standing pose and lighting. The maid outfit and black-and-white dress were even more suited for showcasing a sweet, Moe style charm.

For makeup, extra effort went into the eyes. Because the bright blue contacts are prominent, eyeliner was drawn meticulously and eyelashes were densely applied. The base foundation was kept clean and matte so post-processing wouldn't look greasy. I also had a partner in the shoot, and collaborating allowed us to share props, making the session far less exhausting.

When it comes to character interpretation, the key truly lies in the presence of the Bunny ears; with flattering facial framing, even daily casual outfits feel completely natural. The studio background was clean, using white softboxes to render skin tones evenly. The transitions between outfit changes were tight and efficient, creating a diverse yet cohesive series of looks. We paid close attention to switching between close-ups and full-body angles—even though most final shots are half-body, posing leg stances properly was essential to maintain quality. The entire process was quite a physical workout!
