This time at the CICF convention, I took convention photos of Gaoliang cosplay from Azur Lane, preparing for quite a long time beforehand. From makeup testing to the actual location shoot, every step needed precise control. The visual elements of Gaoliang's outfit are extremely rich; the wig is a vibrant pink, with black curved horns on top of the head, and matched with white flower hair ornaments on the left side. The eye makeup used a large area of purplish-red blending, paired with red lip makeup, making the overall look quite aura-filled.

In terms of clothing, the top is a black corset style, with a black lace choker around the neck featuring a red strapped bowknot. The most eye-catching part should be the sleeves, which are extremely wide, black on the outside and red on the lining, with the black part featuring silver embroidered patterns of spiderwebs. The golden rings and long strings of beads on the sleeves make a slight clinking sound when walking, increasing the overall sense of layering. The waist and chest are decorated with white pom-poms, red cords, and tassels. The bottom is white lace shorts, with a red garter belt worn on the right leg, stepping on black platform high heels.

There were many people at the venue on the day of the shoot, so we found a relatively open area. The first pose was a squat, with both hands making a grabbing motion. This posture requires high core strength, and coupled with the slope of the high heels, I needed to work hard to maintain balance. At the same time, the wide sleeves would naturally droop, revealing the red inside, creating a great visual effect. To make the beautiful legs lines more obvious under the light, body oil was applied to the legs before the shoot, providing a great glossy feel under the flash.

Afterwards, kneeling and standing poses were also tried. In the standing pose photo, I raised one leg and spread my arms wide, while the photographer shot from a low angle upward; this composition can well elongate body proportions. The spiderweb pattern on the sleeves is displayed most completely when unfolded. Finally, for the posture of sitting on a wooden box, holding a long pipe in hand with crossed legs, this action was relatively relaxed, but attention had to be paid to the uprightness of the sitting posture and the angle of the pipe to showcase the character's laziness and elegance.

The on-site lighting mainly relied on the photographer's fill lights, because the ceiling illumination of the venue is quite flat and tends to leave shadows on the face. We constantly adjusted the light positions during the shoot to ensure three-dimensional facial light and shadow while highlighting the material details of the clothing.

When cosplaying the character Gaoliang, the cleanness of the makeup is very important. If the pink wig is not styled well, it will look messy, so quite a bit of hairspray was used to fix the styling before leaving. Overall, these convention photos achieved the expected results, comprehensively showcasing the details of this cosplay outfit and the overall atmosphere through attempts at different poses and angles.
