The convention photos from this World Line Anime Convention are finally retouched, featuring Cirno from Touhou Project! The costume is a classic blue-and-white tiered dress; the layers of lace and ruffled hemline displayed wonderful texture beneath the expo hall's lighting, while the red bow tie on the chest and oversized polka-dot hair ribbon faithfully restored the original character design. To honor the Ice Fairy lore, the wig was deliberately styled with a fluffy, slightly tousled finish, paired with icy-blue contact lenses in hopes of conveying a playful yet slightly tsundere gaze.

The crystal wings on my back were crafted from acrylic material, catching the studio flashes on set to reflect a dazzling iridescent effect. Nailing these mid-air floating poses heavily tested my core strength—I had to engage my core to keep my limbs gracefully extended while controlling facial expressions so my face wouldn't look strained from exertion. Convention photos lack the controllable environment of a private studio, with metal trusses, overhead hall lighting, and background crowds present throughout. Fortunately, the photographer found an exceptional upward angle and incorporated snowflake effects in post-processing, pulling down the ambient hall light to evoke that crisp, cool, icy winter atmosphere.

The frozen frog prop in the second shot was deliberately added to echo Cirno's signature ice elemental affinity. For the leaping pose, I actually stepped onto a small box that was later digitally removed. The outfit was paired with white Stockings (tights) and chunky black block heels, requiring extra caution when moving and jumping around the bustling convention floor to avoid stepping on the dress hem. A great deal of convention photography hinges on split-second candid captures and the photographer's mastery of light and shadow. Being able to capture these satisfying frames was made possible through seamless communication with the photographer, refining kinetic tension and eye direction through several passes. Although convention halls impose physical limits, this authentic venue atmosphere grounds the character with a tangible, realistic presence. I'll continue polishing nuances in movement and expression, looking forward to presenting an even better performance next time.
