[Columbina Cosplay] Ethereal Singer in Genshin Impact: A Serene Moment Beneath Classical Stone Columns

This white-and-blue ensemble appears extraordinarily tranquil against the backdrop of classical stone columns. The layered, wide sleeves and off-the-shoulder design, combined with the white floral-leaf neck decoration, create a sense of ethereal isolation from the world. The white mesh eye cover is the essence of this entire look; to recreate that mysterious visual impact, I repeatedly adjusted the weaving texture and light transparency of the mask. For the hairstyle, the gradient transition from black hair to pink-purple tips is a detail I am very satisfied with, adding a touch of lively color layering to the overall ethereal demeanor.

Because this look features pure white tights paired with white high heels, I paid special attention to the angles of my knees and feet when posing. The white tights cosplay and the bows on the shoes present a very clean texture under diffuse overcast natural light. Against the backdrop of Greco-Roman style stone columns and deep green foliage, this sense of purity is amplified even further.

I chose this location for the shoot because of its wide-open space, where two giant white stone columns create a visual contrast of verticality and horizontality with the loose, flowing sleeves. Being an overcast day, the lighting was very even without harsh light-and-shadow contrasts, allowing the fabric folds of the dress to be revealed softly while preventing the white tights from losing their subtle layered details due to overexposure.

Regarding makeup, since my eyes were covered by the mask, the visual focus shifted to lip color and jawline contouring. I selected a subtle lip glaze to let the lip color blend into my skin tone, reinforcing that unworldly, ethereal aura. The white neck accessory featured a subtle sheen, producing delicate light-and-shadow nuances under natural light.

For poses, I intentionally chose a composition sitting on the edge of the stone platform. Crossing my legs allowed the lines of the white tights cosplay to be showcased better, while the high heels with white bows served as an extension of my feet. Resting my left hand lightly on the stone platform while raising my right hand, the wide sleeves draped naturally, creating an outward yet understated dynamic beauty in the frame. The water-ripple patterns and streamlined cuts of the garment allowed me to control the drape of the outfit easily while posing.

I didn't layer too many filters during post-processing, mainly fine-tuning image contrast and subtle color balance to preserve the original greyish-white overcast tone, better matching the cool, elevated vibe I wanted to convey. To prevent overexposure in the white areas of the costume, I controlled exposure compensation well during shooting, so pulling back highlights was hardly needed in editing.

The overall rhythm of this shoot was very comfortable, giving me a better grasp of this style. The layering of white and blue, complemented by white tights and the eye mask, allowed the overall look to possess both the character's original setting elements from miHoYo's Genshin Impact and plenty of room for personal Anime cosplay interpretation. Shooting outdoors under natural light indeed makes it easier to relax and capture unexpected, vivid moments compared to indoor studio shoots.
