[Columbina Cosplay] The Snezhnayan girl in Genshin Impact, restoring details of the black choker and ruby - Image 1

This time I tried the look of Columbina from Genshin Impact. The golden trim on the black choker and the central ruby are the visual focal points; I deliberately gave them a metallic texture treatment so they could have more realistic reflections under the light. The ruffled cuffs on the white gloves used stiff fabric for shaping to support a full sense of layering, ensuring the pleats wouldn't collapse during hand movements. The gauze headwear on top of the head is paired with light brownish-grey curly bangs, making the overall color tone lean warm. However, to match the character's detached and mysterious temperament, the eye makeup used slightly cold-toned grey-blue colored lenses, and the lip color was chosen as a matte rose-red to avoid over-brightness breaking the atmosphere. The tailoring of this costume is relatively complex; the red satin patchwork on the chest and the white corseted waist structure needed repeated tension adjustments to balance both mobility and visual effects. During the shoot, an indoor warm chandelier was specially chosen as the primary light source, giving the gold threads on the clothes more texture while softening facial shadows to highlight the translucency of the skin. The makeup and styling required a lot of thought regarding detail balance—for example, the length of the neck ornament fits the collarbone perfectly, and the opening angle of the cuffs also coordinates with hand gestures. As a coser, every time I cosplay a character, I hope to anchor her temperament into reality. Calibrating step-by-step from accessories to makeup is a very interesting process in itself. I hope this dedication can be conveyed through the photos.
