This shoot took place in an indoor Retro style setting, where vintage wooden cabinets, a reddish-brown carpet, and a mechanical camera on the table created a deep, tranquil ambiance. For this Genshin Impact Columbina Cosplay, the blue-and-white tulle dress was quite intricate to wear—especially the metallic chest ornaments and layered lace, which took considerable time to position properly. The white wings of the headpiece and the red tips of the hair are prominent hallmarks of the character, and pairing them with purple contact lenses brought a vivid sense of immersion.

The White strapped stockings on the legs served as a pivotal visual element of the look; although not standard stockings, the semi-sheer fabric beautifully flattered the leg lines. While posing, I intentionally sat sideways with crossed legs to highlight the strap design and overall leg silhouette. The lighting angle was crucial during shooting; photographer @YYF utilized side-backlighting, allowing sunlight to stream diagonally across the sheer sleeves and wings to evoke an airy, translucent feel, while the dark background set off the light-toned attire wonderfully.

Posing in this costume was quite physically demanding, as the abundant tulle and metal accessories created drag during movement, and the constrained indoor angles required constant posture adjustments to prevent the skirt from bunching up. However, seeing the crisp, finished photos made every bit of effort worthwhile. Interpreting the Song of the Empty Moon theme with this classical, serene mood harmonized seamlessly with the camera prop, making each frame resemble a vintage postcard from an era gone by.
