[Furina Cosplay] Blueberry Cupcake New Custom Design Cosplay Look

This photoshoot utilized a custom design cosplay look for Furina, combining a blueberry cupcake theme color palette for visual presentation. The blue crown headpiece on top and short hair fading from silver-white to light blue appeared remarkably translucent under natural outdoor light. This non-standard in-game model outfit often brings an Anime-style fashion vibe that feels closer to everyday life.

The wig styling was the highlight of this shoot, intentionally styled into fluffy short layered hair while keeping that signature sticking-up ahoge, making it look playful yet nimble. The blue highlights at the ends and crown not only echoed Furina's Hydro element theme in Genshin Impact, but also subtly incorporated the feel of a blueberry slushie. For the outfit, a large area of white plush material was chosen, which not only increased warmth for winter outdoor shooting, but its fluffy texture also softened the exquisite feel of the crown and accessories, adding a touch of softness and warmth.

The neck accessories featured an asymmetrical design: on the left was a hollow-out butterfly necklace paired with light blue ribbons, while the right featured dark sheer mesh with a black kitten motif. These detailed custom design cosplay modifications gave an anime character a fresh twist in the 3D world.

Regarding makeup, focus was placed on enhancing eye proportions, creating a big-eyed doll effect using contact lenses and blended eyeshadow. The base makeup was very translucent, paired with soft peach blush, transforming Furina's theatrical actress glamour and slight tsundere vibe into a warmer, neighboring everyday charm.

To keep the gradient between silver-white and light blue looking natural, a lot of effort was spent on the dye gradient treatment during prep, resulting in a very clean cool tone that avoided the artificial look silver-white often suffers from. The crown on top was also hand-reinforced to ensure it wouldn't fall easily while walking around; for outdoor shoots, accessory durability directly determines shooting smoothness.

In terms of eye makeup, to emphasize vividness, I didn't rely solely on heavy eyeliner, but brightened the aegyosal with light eyeshadow alongside defined lower lashes, making the eye-enlarging effect look exceptionally genuine. The wind was quite strong on the shooting day, slightly blowing the coat's plush fur around, which inadvertently added dynamic energy to static photos. While wide-angle selfie perspectives can warp facial features easily, this exaggerated perspective is actually a very practical technique in anime portrait photography, shortening the distance between lens and subject to create intimacy.

When two people are in the frame, maintaining character interaction is crucial. We chose side-by-side standing poses looking slightly toward the camera lens; this selfie-like feeling felt very natural, easily giving off an impression of close friends hanging out. The beauty of custom design cosplay lies in not needing to rigidly strike specific in-game poses on the street or hunt down iconic in-game locations; just in an ordinary residential street, using iron fences and roadside greens, we can capture high-quality photos.

Such custom design cosplay brings a unique kind of fun to character recreation. Instead of strictly adhering to game lore, the character serves as a starting point of inspiration to create an anime image better suited for real-world environments and seamless integration into daily streetscapes. The blueberry cupcake theme is also reflected in the color tones, combining overall cool shades with soft warm accents—retaining the recognition of the Genshin Impact character while making the overall visual look like an exquisite dessert.
