[Columbina Cosplay] Genshin Impact Duo Archives: Quiet Moments by the Vintage Piano

For this Genshin Impact shooting project, I portrayed Columbina while my partner took on Sandrone. To capture the classical yet mysterious aura matching their character designs, we spent a long time discussing set design and pose details beforehand. We deliberately chose an indoor studio featuring solid wood bookshelves, a vintage telephone, and a grand piano to craft a quiet, narrative-driven visual atmosphere. Huge thanks to Milio for the exceptional styling; the vibrant pink streaks in Columbina's hair looked effortlessly natural, and we fine-tuned the eye makeup tones several times before settling. The costume details were equally intricate: I wore a blue-and-white dress paired with gold diamond accessories and complex lace-up straps, accented by small wing headpieces and cross hairpins that required delicate securing. Sandrone's black, white, and red outfit was wonderfully textured, especially the dark turtleneck and ruby-studded metallic ornaments, offering a stellar fit. On the shoot day, our photographer showed masterful control over lighting and shadows. In the study set, warm lighting mimicked the texture of a classical oil painting while my partner and I—one standing, one seated against a counter filled with books and lilies—created a striking visual tension. Transitioning to the afternoon tea scene, every prop from the carved sofa and three-tier pastry stand to the refined teapot and candelabra was thoughtfully placed. Sharing desserts together brought out natural, heartfelt smiles. Finally, for the piano shots, I wore patterned lace Stockings cosplay, leaning semi-reclined against the keys while coordinating poses with my partner for incredible camera presence. Holding those flattering leg lines while posing was quite a workout though! Crew members worked tirelessly all day, handling heavy books, flower arrangements, and lighting adjustments. Post-processors captured the exact textured mood we wanted, avoiding excessive smoothing to preserve shadow layers, skin texture, and a cinematic, story-rich color grade. Taking nearly a month from prep to final output, the project had its hurdles—like unruly wig fibers and misaligned props—but everyone pushed through. Seeing the final results made every drop of effort completely worthwhile.
