This four-grid mini expressions set I prepared is finally out! The entire photo set mainly focuses on action restoration and character emotion capture. To shoot this set of photos, a lot of early planning was done from the makeup and styling to the scene, especially to convey the character's cold yet casual feeling through a few simple actions.

Let's first talk about the styling part that took the most effort. The hair used is smooth long hair with light purple and white highlights, and its texture and color look relatively soft under the indoor warm light. The dark blue large bowknot headpiece is a very iconic element, and its pleats and layers actually test the fit with the wig quite a bit. To make this bowknot look structured and natural, I specially rearranged its fastening method before the shoot. The pointed elf ears cosplay part was custom-ordered by me, which fits the ear contours very well, making the proportions of the face shape and the top of the head look more coordinated. This is also a small detail that significantly improves the character restoration.

For the makeup, this time I adopted a relatively natural and translucent base, focusing heavily on the eye makeup and eye color. Wearing red colored contact lenses, paired with a cool-toned eyeshadow blending, gives the gaze an extra touch of unpredictable feeling. The eyebrow shape was subtly elongated and softened without being drawn too heavily, keeping the overall face clean and soft under this anime-style makeup.

The clothing section places great emphasis on layering. The inner white shirt features an exquisite ruffled lace collar, and wearing a black vest over it instantly creates a color-contrast feel visually. The most important necktie is a dark blue large bowknot paired with a purple gemstone brooch, which is the crowning touch of the entire outfit. The sleeve design is highly distinctive: the wide white lantern sleeves are pieced with a fabric featuring gray stripes at the cuffs, further adorned with silver buttons, beautifully restoring the prototype's Gothic style while being perfect for making various movements in front of the lens. The black belt and silver metal buckle at the waist also provide a cinching effect, paired with a black lower garment, keeping the character's overall outline from looking bulky while maintaining an elegant temperament.

Regarding the shooting movements this time, to fit the theme of the four-grid mini expressions, I chose four hand gestures from different angles, which are: a single hand loosely clenched into a fist, a single hand propping up the chin, both hands covering the mouth, and both hands with fingers interlaced. When shooting the chin-propping picture, extra attention was needed for the distance between the hand and the face to find an angle that looks relaxed without compressing the facial contours. The mouth-covering action highly tests the gaze and the power posture of the shoulders and neck in order to convey that slightly cunning feeling through the eyes. Although it was shot in front of an indoor wooden door with a minimalist background, in this pure environment, the visual focus could instead be completely concentrated on the character's expression and costume details in this cosplay sharing.

Although the outfit looks sharp, because of various decorations and layers, it is actually quite cumbersome to wear and manage, especially the positioning of the headpiece and necktie, which required repeated fine-tuning. To achieve a high restoration of the gaze and expression, I practiced switching between eye focus and facial relaxation in front of the lens quite a few times, trying my best to merge into the character's state. I hope this attempt at a four-grid set presents the character more vividly.
