[Sunna Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero, The Quirky Angels of Delusion - Image 1

The plan to shoot this Zenless Zone Zero Sunna cosplay photoset actually started half a month ago. From grooming the wig to matching this pair of pink striped knee-high socks, I repeatedly discussed many details with the stylist. The setting inherently carries that quirky yet sweet-and-cool girl vibe, so the scene was specially chosen in this small studio featuring blue neon lights and retro TV elements. Paired with a shopping cart prop, it attempts to restore an atmosphere somewhere between daily life and fantastic illusions for this Cosplay sharing.

Regarding the makeup and styling, the light blue slightly wavy short hair was adorned with childlike colorful hair clips, and the eye makeup deliberately went for an anime-style tipsy look. A black leather choker was tied around the neck, paired with a white short-sleeved open-collar shirt and a red half-bowtie. The overall visual aspect has quite a lot of negative space, which happens to let this set of pink-and-white thick-striped sleeves and over-the-knee socks become the visual focus. This wide stripe element easily elongates the body silhouette, and a blue bowknot was added to the black leg ring on the thigh, which both balances the cloying sweetness of the pink and adds a touch of mechanical-style sharpness.

The posture of sitting inside the shopping cart throughout the shoot was actually quite challenging. Because the space of the cart basket is limited, adjusting a posture that can both display the lines of the legs and maintain a relaxed, lazy upper body required repeated trial and error. The chin-resting movement can make the facial silhouette clearer, while raising this small pink devil plushie with the other hand not only increases the frame's interactive feel but also perfectly echoes the spoiled little devil trait of the character setting. The lighting technician cooperated by casting quite a bit of purple-blue side-backlighting, giving the hair strands and shoulder edges a layer of highlight, beautifully merging the model with the background neon lights.

During post-processing, I specially retained a layout style with hand-drawn elements, such as scattered white hearts and directional arrows around, because these small details perfectly match the mischievous yet sweet setting of the Angels of Delusion. The circular local close-up on the right highlights the connection details of the leg ring and long socks, while the dashed-frame small images in the upper-left and lower-left look like behind-the-scenes snapshot sections captured from different angles. Although it's not a minimalist, clean blockbuster, this high-information collage-style layout fits the lifestyle record feel favored by many current ACGN enthusiasts.

The intervals during the shoot were actually quite fun because the wheels of this handcart are movable. Whenever I moved slightly inside, the cart would sway back and forth, causing the camera to refocus several times. However, the photo results turned out very relaxed and natural, completely lacking the stiffness of over-contrived posing. This time, I also attempted to complete the shoot relying completely on the on-site environmental light and portable fill lights without using overly complex, large-scale lighting equipment, giving a texture close to the relaxed atmosphere of daily store visits or convention check-ins in this Anime-style photography project.

Overall, this counts as a fairly delightful creative experience, successfully capturing Sunna's innocent yet troublemaking temperament. The high saturation of the clothing colors is highly eye-catching against the dark neon background, and the hand-drawn graffiti in post-processing also added to the fun of the photos. If you want to shoot a similar dreamy neon feel, it's recommended not to choose flat lighting for the scene, but to try cross-lighting with warm and cool colors for a totally different effect.
