Shooting these Behind the scenes moments of Remielle really involved constant adjustments to details. From setting up hair and makeup, the combination of pink hair and Elf ears was actually quite demanding with studio lighting. The color of the wig easily washed out into a dull gray under cool-toned lights, so the photographer deliberately underexposed the gray-blue backdrop in the studio to make the pink pop. Wearing the Elf ears required a snug fit along the ear contour, and maintaining natural facial expressions over prolonged periods definitely took some time to get used to.
Wardrobe-wise, the materials of this outfit are richly textured: the main black body is glossy patent leather, while the sleeves and shoulders are pieced together with semi-sheer mesh. The patent leather produces strong reflections on camera, requiring constant fine-tuning of light positions to prevent glare from obscuring the tailoring lines. The mesh ruffles, metallic zippers, and lacing details are very flattering to the figure, yet also test mobility; when bending down or turning sideways, one has to pay special attention to the fabric's stretch to avoid awkward creases.
In the first shot holding the black wings, the wings were actually quite heavy; striking that imposing yet tsundere backward glance meant my arm muscles were constantly engaged. Later, sitting down to interact with the dessert stand was much more comfortable. The cupcakes on the dessert stand were specially prepared props, complemented by vintage floral teacups to match the mood. Sitting at the small white European round table, I naturally relaxed—glancing down at the cake or lightly adjusting my collar embellishment—these unprompted actions were captured beautifully by the photographer.
The visual tone of this set leans towards a dark Gothic style, imbued with a sweet, dramatic contrast. To avoid going OOC, I constantly searched for that haughty yet languid poise. By the end of the shoot, everyone was exhausted; the hot lights were baking, and the wig was stifling, but seeing the final shots made every refined detail feel well worth the effort.
