[Corin cosplay] Shooting official photos of the Zenless Zone Zero housekeeper at HoYo Wonderful House

Within the dedicated Zenless Zone Zero set at HoYo Wonderful House, I completed this shoot of official Corin cosplay photos. This time, the main framing was centered around the leather sofa area in the base; combined with the cool glow of that vintage monitor in the background and the wall paintings, the overall atmosphere aligned perfectly with the in-game texture.

Regarding the costume, the design fidelity of this maid dress is remarkably high. The light blue grid lines on the white apron and the ruffled pleats at the neckline visually add substantial layering. The key highlight lies in those black rigid arm sleeves with silver metal buckles on the arms, combined with the wide black leather belt and chained metallic pendants at the waist, adding sharp combat attributes to the originally gentle maid dress. The black strappy shoes and long socks on the feet create a sleek Black tights outfit that further elongates the leg lines, which, coordinated with the sawtooth tiered layers of the skirt hem, makes the overall styling very complete.

For the wig, I selected a light mint-green color with smooth hair strands. To look better before the camera, we fine-tuned the crown and bangs on-site, ensuring the outward curls framed the face nicely without obstructing the line of sight. Although the pleated headband attached to the wig is quite hefty, after styling, it still retained fluffiness and volume at the top of the head.

The on-site studio lighting was arranged with great care for Anime-style photography. The key light used a blue-violet hue to establish the ambient mood, simulating the cool tones of an urban nightscape, while a warm yellow desk lamp on the left side of the frame served as ambient fill light to illuminate the sofa and the side of my face. This warm-and-cool lighting contrast not only made facial features more three-dimensional, but also made the black-and-white outfit stand out prominently against the dark backdrop. The texture of the brown leather sofa looked warm and smooth under the warm light; paired with that plush teddy bear in the corner, it added a touch of everyday life to the austere background, fitting the character setting that blends a housekeeper with a combatant.

Several different poses were tested during the shoot, and ultimately this angle of crossing hands to make a gesture was selected. This movement showcases the metallic ring ornaments on the wrists while bringing out the cosplayer's natural demeanor, conveying the character's focus through a direct gaze into the camera. Without smiling, combined with this hand gesture and the overall cool-toned frame, it creates a sense of calmness and order, deeply fitting the visual impression of the character.

The full set of official photos will be published progressively following the game's open beta rollout; this post is just a preview. The collaboration with the team was very smooth throughout the shoot, and since hair, makeup, and props were well-prepared, shooting efficiency in the studio was very high. Every time I put on such an outfit and stand inside an elaborately designed set, it feels like a marvelous experience of breaking the fourth wall. Compared to random outdoor scouting, shooting in a dedicated themed studio allows the subject and setting to merge seamlessly, resulting in photos with a much more solid texture.
