This Gongsun Li Cosplay set in her Jade Rabbit Princess look is one of the projects I've poured the most heart into recently. The first photo showcases a seated pose, using a plush rug to create a soft, cozy ambience; under strong lighting against a dark background, the orange cropped top paired with golden armlets beautifully highlights the fabric textures and reflective sheen. The second shot captures a single-leg standing pose snapped in the brightly lit center zone of the hall—a real test of balance and core strength, as I needed to keep the umbrella straight while controlling the movement of the yellow chiffon ribbons.

The orange-yellow color scheme and golden carved accessories on the Cosplay outfit were repeatedly fine-tuned until achieving the exact lavish elegance I envisioned. The bunny ear hair accessory on top was custom-molded, requiring a firm fit to prevent slipping. The braided hair was styled with a natural drape, which, combined with the red rose at the side, ensures the overall look never feels flat from any angle. The accenting pink-tinted umbrella features white animal silhouettes printed on the canopy; amidst the swaying umbrella and ribbons, the dynamic candid shots felt even livelier and more vibrant than the seated pose.

On the day of the shoot, the lighting control on site was on point—combining top light with side fill light effectively eliminated harsh facial shadows, allowing me to present my best state before the camera. Quality lighting and backdrop setups truly play a pivotal role in elevating cosplay texture. We sought out a relatively quiet corner at the convention venue to minimize background distractions, keeping the visual focus tightly locked onto the character.

In portraying this character, I didn't just focus on the broad strokes, but also meticulously handled minute details—such as the cinched orange bloomers hem and the fluffy white pom-poms on the shoes, which added depth and charm to her persona. Balancing graceful posture while navigating convention crowds demanded seamless teamwork with the photographer to produce top-quality photos in limited time. When posing, I meticulously adjusted my hand placement and gaze to capture her bright, confident, and energetic spirit.

Quoting the line, \"I proclaim to the heavens and earth: having met the Holy Monk, my wish is fulfilled,\" combined with the Western Regions aesthetic of the costume and red umbrella, felt like stepping directly into that story's ambiance. A cosplayer's purpose goes beyond wearing a costume; it's about conveying the character's emotion through the lens. For the single-leg standing photo, I tilted the umbrella slightly to use the yellow gauze as a blurred foreground, creating a soft, misty aesthetic. Though tiring, seeing the finished results made every effort worthwhile.

This entire set blends serene static beauty with dynamic, effortless grace. As my main hero in Honor of Kings, I hoped to share her unique charm through my rendition. This shoot also gave me fresh insights into combining venue performance and lighting techniques. Avoiding overly complex digital effects, we relied primarily on upfront fabric choices and precise on-site lighting. This reflects my core cosplay philosophy: presenting the character in their purest, most authentic form before your eyes.
