[Belle Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero's Summer Swimsuit Playtime by the Water

If you don't play with water in summer, it's absolutely a waste. Having received the commission from the Proxy this time, I changed directly into this swimsuit of Belle from Zenless Zone Zero, coming to the outdoor poolside to unlock a refreshing and heat-relieving summer look.

Regarding the outfit and styling this time, the overall style leans toward a refreshing and sporty look. The top is a lightweight, loose-fitting, white off-the-shoulder T-shirt with a wide neckline, featuring an exaggerated yellow flower decoration at the collar and colorful letter patterns printed on the chest that match the summer theme. To make the entire look more energetic, I chose bright orange sports shorts for the lower body, with black drawstrings and buckle straps at the waist. This clashing white-and-orange color combination not only looks exceptionally fresh under the sun but also creates a highly eye-catching visual contrast against the blue pool background. The wig features deep blue short hair with the ends tied into two low pigtails, paired with an orange-and-black bucket hat, instantly bringing on a rich wave of casual summer vibes. We didn't skip any details in the accessories either, with a silver chain pendant around the neck, and multiple loops of green and light blue braided ropes on the wrists and ankles, adding beautiful layers to the overall wear.

For the prop preparation, I specially brought a pink water gun with an exaggerated design and a classic little yellow rubber duck. Although they are simple props, in these three photos, they add plenty of playfulness to the frames.

Let's take a look at three different shooting concepts. For the first concept, I chose to sit on the tiles at the edge of the pool, with one hand propping up my chin as I looked toward the lens. This is a relatively static and casual pose, perfect for expressing the character's lazy vibe upon just sitting down to rest by the pool in the scorching summer heat. The pink water gun and the little yellow duck lie quietly by my feet, with a relatively stable composition that concentrates the colors on the figure.

The second concept completely switches to dynamic mode. Still sitting by the pool, I changed to a pose where my body leaned slightly back, propped up by one hand on the ground, while kicking one leg high toward the water surface. At the exact moment the shutter clicked, water splashed everywhere, forming a gorgeous arching water curtain. This action is a major test of the snapshot capture technique during the shoot, requiring capturing the exact split second when the splash is at its fullest and the facial expression is at its most natural. Meanwhile, to add a sense of interaction, I held the little yellow duck in my hand; paired with my upturned lips, the entire frame felt incredibly lively and vivid, fully expressing the sheer joy of playing with water.

The third concept is a standing composition that I am personally quite satisfied with. Standing on the walkway by the pool, I raised the pink water gun high with my right arm while putting my left hand on my hip, with my body naturally forming a slightly turned angle. This angle is exceptionally flattering and beautifully showcases the waistline and leg lines. The photographer lowered the camera position during the shoot to make the frame look more upright, while the vast expanse of blue water, blurred buildings, and green trees in the background created an excellent sense of spatial depth. With the figure centered as the main subject, the composition is full, and the overall colors are bright and transparent.

This shoot was actually conducted outdoors in the scorching sun, and constantly touching up makeup and adjusting poses under the blazing heat was quite a test of physical strength and patience. Fortunately, although the sunlight was dazzling, the light was highly abundant, and the natural light shining down from on high ensured great color saturation and transparency for the frames. To achieve a satisfying splash effect, I repeatedly kicked the water seven or eight times. Although my shorts and the ankle cords were completely soaked, looking at the final photoshoot results made it feel as if the summer annoyance was also splashed away with the water.

Although this look seems very cool, the fabric of the outfit is actually quite easy to get soaked under the blazing sun. However, as a cosplayer, being able to shoot this kind of water-playing theme in summer is inherently a highly joyful experience. I hope these refreshing colors and relaxed atmosphere can also bring a touch of visual cooling to everyone looking at the photos in this Swimsuit cosplay of a 2D character.
