[Azur Lane Unicorn Cosplay] Catching a Summer Little Angel at Guangzhou Azur Lane Only

The Guangzhou Azur Lane Only event on March 29th was one of my key schedules for attending conventions this spring. For this event, I specially prepared a summer-themed look, which is the summer outfit you see right now. As a participant of Unicorn Cosplay, wanting to look refreshing and natural in a summer-style exhibition zone makes the details of the costume and props exceptionally important. This white lace dress features multi-layered ruffles with a soft and flowing skirt hem. The high-neck lace design combined with the off-the-shoulder tailoring beautifully showcases a sweet feeling in the summer atmosphere.

In terms of prop selection, the silver trumpet is the finishing touch of the overall look. To give the frame more texture, I tied a black ribbon to the trumpet, which can both assist the styling and make it convenient to strike different poses when taking photos. In addition, that white-and-purple unicorn plush toy is also an important component of this look. While shooting the third photo, I held this little unicorn on my lap, cooperating with a one-handed finger-heart gesture to strengthen the overall sense of interaction. I wore semi-transparent white lace gloves and white high heels decorated with small wings, paired with over-knee white stockings to visually elongate the leg lines, echoing the overall pure white and fresh color scheme.

At the convention venue that day, the background was a meticulously arranged beach-themed area with blue inflatable balls, blue-and-white striped beach chairs, and a backdrop of blue skies and coconut trees, perfectly fitting my summer outfit. The lighting on-site was relatively bright; the photographer and I tried our best to utilize this ambient light during the shoot to avoid overly harsh heavy shadows. The first action of lifting one leg was to reflect the lively aura of the styling, giving the frame a more dynamic feel; while the third and fourth frames of sitting on the beach chair making a finger heart aimed to convey a relatively relaxed and cozy emotion.

Cosplaying a character you love at a convention is a wonderful experience in itself. From wearing the outfit and grooming the wig to smoothing out angles with the photographer on-site, every step makes the character more three-dimensional. When shooting this set of photos, the live environment was quite bustling, but relying on the interaction between props and the scene, we very smoothly completed the shooting for these convention photos. This set of photos is mainly to record the experience of participating in the Guangzhou Anime Convention only event. The overall frame focuses on being bright and translucent, and the post-processing also preserved the authentic skin tone and hair color details without excessive filter modifications. I hope this set of photos can showcase the sweetness and purity of this character in my understanding, while letting everyone feel that relaxed and joyful summer atmosphere at the offline convention venue.
